@ART NCS 10J = <B>DISKLI21.ZIP <D><N>DISKLIST is designed to print
the directory of any disk, including subdirectories, on a stick on
label, a sheet of paper that can be cut to the size of the diskette,
on an 8.5 x 11 sheet, the screen, or a disk file. The list is in a
format that is the size of the floppy so that it can be attached to
the floppy, or, if on paper, trimmed to fit into the floppy sleeve.
Printer control codes can in inserted in the program. The length of
the label in lines can be set. DISKLIST has many output options for
both laser and non-laser printers. It also has a laser command editor,
accessed with F6, so you can easily change them. The laser commands
are setup in the following categories: Symbol, Spacing, Pitch & Point
Size, Orientation, Top Margin, Lines per inch, Left Margin, Row and
Reset. DISKLIST will even download your soft fonts for you.

@ART NCS 10J = <B>DTP256.ZIP<D>  DESKTOP PAINT 256 v1.2 is a full
colour bitmapped paint program written to use the extended resolution
of super VGA cards. It features a mouse driven user interface, full
colour manipulation and drawing tools and a choice of popular image
file formats. Desktop Paint 256 supports the following image file
formats: PCX, GIF, IFF/LBM (Electronic Arts' Deluxe Paint) and TIFF.
Desktop Paint 256 is a paint program, rather than a drawing program.
It does not support GEM, Corel Draw, Designer, DXF or EPS files. Unlike
many other paint programs, Desktop Paint 256 features complete EMS
and XMS support. It will handle enormous images... pictures which
unpack into several megabytes... if you have sufficient expanded or
extended memory in your system. Note that you must have at least 300
kilobytes of EMS or XMS to edit a 640 by 480 pixel picture under Desktop
Paint 256. We recommend at least an 80286 or 80386 PC. Desktop Paint
256 requires a Microsoft compatible mouse and driver and one of the
following super VGA display adapters: Paradise Plus (256K on board),
Paradise Professional (512K on board), ATI VGA Wonder card (256K or
512K on board) or Headland Video7 or 1024i card (256K or 512K on board).

@ART NCS 10J = <B>GIFLT130.ZIP<D> GIFLITE is an easy to use GIF file
compression program. It compresses the GIF files so that they will
require much less disk space yet still preserve the same quality and
resolution. With GIFLITE, high quality digitized GIF images can be
further compressed by average of 15% to 35% depending on the complexity
of the images. What makes GIFLITE special is that the resulting GIF
file is almost identical to the original file. Human eyes can hardly
tell them apart. GIFLITE conforms to both GIF87a and GIF89a standards.
All non-image information is preserved in the resulting GIF files.
The compressed images can be read by standard GIF decoders, such as
VPIC and CSHOW.

@ART NCS 10J = <B>GIFPUB40.ZIP<D>  GIFPUB converts colored GIF/PCX
pics (up to 2KBx2KBx256) to a dithered Black & White image and saves
it to a .PCX (ZSoft) file for First Publisher, Ventura Publisher,
Publisher's Paintbrush/PC Paintbrush+, Aldus PageMaker (if you rename
the .PCX file to .PCC and use its convert/import facility), WordPerfect
5.0 (through GRAPHCNV to convert/import the PCX output). It also PRINTS
the output to most Epson and IBM compatible dot matrix printers. With
GIFPUB, NO VIDEO CARD IS NECESSARY. Save and load images without viewing
them. For interactive viewing/saving, GIFPUB supports CGA (640x200),
Hercules (720x348), EGA (640x350), VGA (640x480), EEGA or SVGA (to
1024x768).

@ART NCS 10J = <B>ALTS2AFM.ZIP<D>   This is a program that lets you
use public domain/shareware PostScript fonts in IBM applications.
ALTS2AFM.EXE will generate an AFM file from Fontographer fonts (I've
never seen a PD/shareware font that wasn't generated by Altsys Fontographer
on a Mac). The AFM contains the character widths on a 1000 unit scale,
and is straight text, so you can edit it in a text editor. Some packages,
such as Ventura Publisher, include utilities to convert the AFM rather
painlessly (AFMTOVFM.EXE in VP 1.0 and VP 2.0).

@ART NCS 10J = <B>LASER300.ZIP<D>   LaserIt V3.00 is a document format
utility. This product will allow you to print documents in "4UP" and
"2UP" (book like) format. It requires the use of an HP LaserJet or
a 100% compatible. The features included in this version will introduce
you to documentation formatting that only the "expensive" software
can perform. Functions such as Index & Format will give you the opportunity
to adjust existing documents so that the can be printed in a professional
looking format. Above it all, Laserit will allow you to do something
important to all of us: SAVE PAPER ! Although we emphasize the use
of Laserit with existing documents, it is possible to write documentation
files, to be printed solely by Laserit.

@ART NCS 10J = <B>P4PS110.ZIP <D><N>Print for PostScript version 1.10
is a program designed to conserve paper when printing large amounts
of text by printing anywhere from one to 64 virtual pages on each
side of a physical sheet of paper on a PostScript printer, in either
Landscape or Portrait orientation. Each page is printed with an attractive
(optional) drop shadow effect. P4PS works with an 11.7 point, fixed
pitch Courier font which normally yields 66 lines per page at 80 characters
per line. P4PS performs it's magic by utilizing PostScript's exceptional
scaling, rotating, and translating capabilities. P4PS always produces
one standard page at a time telling the PostScript driver where on
the page to place it and how to scale it.
