The MN "menu system with extras" is programmed with BUILDER. It's not the
most sophisticated or automatic system available; but it is relatively easy to
use and is set up for one-key initial exit so that computer users who
are comfortable with the command line can use/not use the system easily
even if it is started by the Autoexec.bat file.
The system includes a relatively detailed help system which is easy to use
and need not be duplicated here. Please take time to view the Help system.
From the inital menuscreen, enter "V" for the "Variety" Menu (other menus do
not exist until "cloned"). Help is option "9Help" at bottom of all menus except
the opening menuscreen where it is "7Help" in the "Express" menu.
One final note---Please use the INSTALL.COM program even if you have
unzipped all the MNSYSTEM files into the directory planned for its use.
The INSTALL program includes a Configuration section which writes a
four-line text file to C:\MNDRDIR.CFG. The MNSYSTEM won't run correctly
unless the configuration section is used. INSTALL.COM does not require
that all files in the package be recopied--the options (1) to "copy plus
configure" or (2) to "configure only" are available. INSTALL does NOT modify
Autoexec.bat or config.sys (but you may wish to Edit Autoexec.bat yourself).
The fully functional DEMO-EVALUATION version has A 10-second initial delay.
Try the system. It was written for best use on a PC with DOS 4.01 & Color.
Glitches may occur with other DOS versions. PLEASE COMMENT or SUGGEST.
