======================================== Readme file for Windows LinePrint v2.0 ======================================== REGISTRATION: The file "reg.txt" contains a registration form in text format. It can be printed by LinePrint. This readme file can also be printed by LinePrint. Register now and recieve a FREE "Murphy's Law" program for Windows! MURPHW displays one of over 200 laws each time it is run. Put it into your Startup group and start your day off right! INSTALLATION: Copy the first four files listed in the File List below to the directory where you want LinePrint. Go to the Program Manager and select the group where you want LinePrint's icon. Then select File|New from the Program Manager's menu. Select Program Item, then Ok. Type "LinePrint" (without the quotes) for the Description and the full path to LinePrint for the Command Line. example command lines: c:\wlp\wlp.exe c:\windows\wlp.exe Then press the Ok button. This procedure will install a Program Manager icon for LinePrint. File Description ===================================================== wlp.exe Main program file. wlp.hlp Help file. readme.txt You're reading it. reg.txt Registration form in text format. NOTES: LinePrint will also create a WLP.INI file in the Windows directory when it is executed. This file contains saved margin nformation and other user-changeable data. WLP.INI is created automatically when LinePrint is first run. LinePrint does NOT operate in Window's real mode. It is a protected-mode-only program and requires a 286 or higher processor running in standard or enhanced mode. LinePrint will accept a command-line parameter to set the initial wildcard displayed in the file selection dialog. This parameter may include a path as well. example: c:\wlp\wlp.exe c:\*.bat This command line will start lineprint from the c:\wlp directory and set the initial search directory to c:\*.bat. ======================== IMPORTANT! ======================== This program and the machine-readable documentation are shareware. They may be freely copied and distributed provided all the files listed above are included and no alteration is made to them. You may use this program fee of charge for a 21-day trial period.
