FONTS for Microsoft Windows with ATM (and others) These archives each contain IBM-format Type-1 postsctipt fonts. They are all conversions from MAC pd and/or shareware fonts (from sumex, etc). Most have both the .pfb and .pfm files which Windows 3.0's ATM requires. Some have .afm files also, which is something that some other PC programs require. The included .ps files are the MAC version of the .pfb. *Some* files have only the .pfb file, and those are useful with some PC applications. Most all of these font (where I can tell) packages require that all the original files be included in distributions intact. Thus, this is fulfilled literally. In each .zip file is the original MAC-style .sit archive. ALL information is exactly as gotten. The fonts have been translated with no modification to the fonts themselves (only the file format translated). If there is some problem, it may have been in the translation, and not due to the original font. If you like a font, and it's one of the shareware ones, payment is probably a valid thing to do. If you have problems with a font, complaints probably are not valid since you are not using it on a MAC as the originator intended. Readme's were extracted as best as possible, some/many are still in MAC form with CR's instead of CRLF's that pc's like. Various file viewers in a PC can handle this. These have not all been tried in Windows 3.0 as yet, although several have.
