         The Files are:
         File_id.diz
         Manaul.txt
         Gutmod.exe
		 Modshell.exe
		 Sod.exe

These programs are supplied without any expressed or implied

                         GutMOD 2.10 1994(C)
                           - Gut Shoveler -

    Command line explanation:

    GUTMOD FILE 12000

This will play a mod named FILE.MOD using mixing rate 12000hz
the default rate is 10k, and the minimum is 5k. I think that should
be low enough for even slow 286 machines, However 12 or even 13k works
    good on my 386sx 25

    GUTMOD FILE 12000 255

will play FILE.MOD using a mixing rate of 12000hz at full volume...
    BTW...

IF You want to use the Pc speaker do add 'SPK'
to the end of the whole thing..

GUTMOD FILE 12000 255 SPK like that...

of course now in 2.10 of gutmod, volume can also be controlled in the
program itself with the F keys F1-F4 raises the volume on the
respective track, and shift F1-F4 lowers the volume. F5 and shift F5
controls all the tracks in a similar manner

			       ModSHELL (C)

                          Cerberus -/- Gut Shoveler

ModSHELL is an easy to use shell program for GutMOD and DMP. To use
ModSHELL type MODSHELL at the command, and simply use the arrow keys to
select the mod you wish to play then press <ENTER>. However there are a
few option which you should be aware of. Below is a screen capture from
 ModSHELL..

GutMOD Sound Blaster Sampling File Directory: Player Directory
                         Rate:

Ĵ
F6 - Delete File Press Q to quit

F1 and F2 are toggles, F1 selects either GutMOD or DMP, and F2 selects
either the Soundblaster, or PC Speaker. F3 lets you enter the desired sample
rate to be passed to the mod player. F4 lets you enter the directory the mod
files are in, and F5 lets select the directory that the mod playing program
is in. F6 lets you kill a mod file you do not want.

                          Note About Sampling Rates

Sampling rate, or referred to in GutMOD as mix rate, should be set as
high as possible for your machine. The upper limit for GutMOD is in the
neighborhood of 35k. 8000 is usually the lowest one would want to go, and
somewhere between 8000, and 10000 will work on a 386/16.. On a 386/25 you
can go as high as 14-15k. If you have a 386/40 or better you can pretty
much run what you want to.. If you are stuck with a Pc speaker it stops
squealing at around 28k, but 30k starts to sound kinda ok....
