the following DX information.

A3, TONGA. This will be the last week to work Paul, KK6H/A35RK, because
he will be going QTH June 18th. He can usually be found on 20 meters
(14175-14226 kHz) SSB between 0330 and 0500z. Also, check the low end
(CW band) on 40 meters around 1330z. He also likes RTTY; check around
14086 kHz around the same time as above. QSL via KK6H.

C5, THE GAMBIA. Uli, DK2OC, and Brendan, G0UCT, now active from here
signing C56/ their homecall will be going QRT June 17th. They have been
active on all bands, but with an emphasis on the WARC bands. The modes
being used are CW, SSB and RTTY. QSL C56/DK2OC to DK2OC and C56/G0UCT
to G1GMZ.

D2, ANGOLA. The Red Cross will be sending Peter, ON6TT, to D2-land
June 16th through July 16th. His callsign is undetermined yet, but he
plans lowbands and WARC activity. Due to the circumstance Peter will be
using commercial equipment, therefore he will not have the capability to
work split. QSL via ON5NT. After Angola, Peter will be active from
7Q-land July 16th to August 1st.

D4, REPUBLIC OF CAPE VERDE. Angelo, D44BC, has been heard on 17 meters
and RS-12 this month. Check 18128 kHz around 1130z or on RS-12 check
between 29430 and 29445 from 1200 to 1430z.

FT5, KERGUELEN ISLAND. Pierre, FT5XJ, was heard active this past weekend
on a DX net on 14226 kHz around 0530z. He will be leaving in July and
will return three months later. QSL via F5NLL (F1NLL in the CB).

KG4, GUANTANAMO BAY (Cancelled). The planned operation by Bill, KQ4GC
in Guantanamo Bay for June 10-17 has been cancelled.

HB0, LIECHTENSTEIN. Eight members from the Eindhoven Students Radio
Amateur Club (ESRAC club calls - PI4TUE and PI5EHV) will be active
between 1800z July 6th to 1200z July 11th. Activity will be on all
bands (including 6m, 2m and 70cm), CW, SSB, RTTY and Packet. Their
main emphasis will be taking part in the IARU HF Championship CW/SSB
and the CQ WW WPX VHF/UHF Contests. The group has requested the callsign
HB0TUE for the entire operation. If they cannot get the requested
callsign, operators will sign HB0/ and their personal callsigns. All
QSLs go to PI4TUE.

R1, MALYJ VYSOTSKIJ ISLAND. The "DX-LOGGEN" reports an operation will
take place July 30-31st. There is not much information available at
this time other than the callsign will be R1MVI.

RA1Z, LUMBOVSKIY ISLAND, RUSSIA. Dick, RW1ZZ, will be active from this
Russian Island starting June 15th for about two weeks. He will be active
as RW1ZZ/1 on CW/SSB. The IOTA of this one is EU-161 (or for the RRA
award, RR-03-01). QSL to RA1ZA.

SP2PIT/1, WOLIN ISLAND, POLAND. Several members of SP-IOTA-Club will be
active from EU-132 (SPIA SZ-02), June 25-30th. Activity will be on 80-10
meters, CW, SSB and RTTY. They will also try to activate Usedom Island
(IOTA EU-132, SPIA SZ-01) and some other islands for the Polish Islands
Award (SPIA) if the weather conditions are good.

TL, CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC. Gene, TL8NG, has been active on CW the past
month on the WARC bands. Check 12, 17 and 30 meters between 1330 to 1600z
and again after 0430z. There was also a report that he shows up on the
21335 DX net sometimes (check around 1400z). QSL via WA1ECA.

TY, BENIN. A couple of stations have been active this month from TY-land.
A German operator (DJ4IJ) is currently active as TY1IJ until sometime in
July. This station will be active mainly on SSB and the WARC bands. Check
14275 kHz around 2200z. QSL via DJ5IO. TY1PS was active over the past
weekend in the RTTY contest. QSL via TY1PS via Peter Schulze, B.P.
06-2535, Cotonou, Benin.

VP2E BEACON OFF THE AIR!. Dave, VP2EHF, reports that the Auguilla 6 meter
beacon is enroute to the U.S. for repair. However, Dave advises that
anyone hearing the Caribbean on 6 meters and needs VP2E to call him or
his wife (Dorothea, VP2EE) at 1-809-497-2150 (or FAX: 1809-497-3557).
They will be glad to work you.

VP5, TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS. Will, AA4NC, will be active as VP5NC in
the IARU HF Championship in July on SSB and CW. There will be activity
before and after the contest on the WARC bands. QSL via CBA.

XU, KAMPUCHEA. This is a hard one to work for the guys in the mid and
east coast states, especially with the poor propagation. Sanyi, HA7VK,
continues to be active from here as XU7VK until February 1995. Look for
him on 20 meters SSB between 1245 and 1400z.
