AD&D 2nd edition mid-level campaign BLOODSTONE

Bloodstone is an AD&D 2nd edition campaign designed for a
maximum of 10 players. Worldsetting is a bit skewed though not
radically different from standard. Initial plotline is unknown
to players, having been mysteriously teleported/shifted into
the presence of an artifact? known as the Bloodstone.

Car Wars by Steve Jackson Games CAR_WARS

The Car Wars echo is for playing the campaign, but discussion
of the Car Wars rules or supplements is very welcome and
encouraged. Car Wars is a game of automotive combat in the
21st century. Government is at an all-time low, and anarchy is
pretty much the dominant form except in a few larger towns
where police forces have managed to assemble some form of
civilization. Each player is run through a seperate campaign.
The rules used is the Car Wars Compendium, 2st Edition,
but owners of older rules editions to the game (pocket-boxed
sets, Deluxe boxed set, etc.) should have no problems figuring
out the new changes. The campaign is open for as many player
    that the moderator can handle.

Melee Door Support Conference MELEE

The on-line game MELEE is based on a gladiatorial blood sport
which gains widespread popularity early in the 21st century.
The game features real-time combat and is very oriented toward
the character development inherent in most FRPGs. The MELEE

SF/Fantasy/Horror Book Reviews, et al. V-LIBRARY

      A. The Library Echo is first and foremost for the review of
books; Science Fiction and Fantasy primarily, though
others genres may be included as deemed appropriate by the
moderator. Rebuttals, comments and opinions on the
reviews are welcome and encouraged but should be kept
reasonable both in duration and scope.

      B. Requests for reviews, i.e. "Has anybody read..." are
         appropriate as might be expected.

      C. Book searches, i.e. "Does anyone know where...", and
information on book location services are also appropriate
         topics for this echo.

      D. General informational messages for the reading community
(Conventions, New book releases, Autograph parties, etc)
         are appropriate.

      E. The idea for this echo is NOT to become another general
SF/F discussion group similar to the Fido SF or SFFAN
areas, but to be a more specific informative echo.

Discussion and Playing of Board Games V_BOARD

Here you will find the die-hard wargamer, the studious chess
player, the somewhat warped Cosmic Encounters player and the
newcomer willing to try anything. Discussions of wargaming
strategies, reviews of new games, anecdotes of how you
backstabbed poor Austria in that last Dippy game, these are all
appropriate topics for this echo. GMs will also look for
    players here.

Role-playing on Computers and Videogame Systems V_COMPGAME

This conference is for the discussion of roleplaying games for
computers and video game systems. Not for Leisure Suit
Larry... not for Super Mario Bros. III... but for the likes of
Ultima, Wizardry, the SSI AD&D series (Pool of Radiance, Curse
of the Azure Bonds, etc), Phantasy Star (I,II,III, etc), Sword
of Vermillion, Ys, etc. This rule will be STRICTLY enforced to
avoid the conference being buried by off-topic game
discussions. It is ALSO NOT for relative discussions on one
system or another... We do not need system wars.

Open Discussion of all Role Playing Games V_GAMER

A place where those interested in role-playing games can kick
back and discuss their favorite game system, reminisce about
old adventures, review new games or ask questions. New gamers
should probably find the answers to most of their questions
here - though they may receive different answers from different
people. GMs interested in starting new games or needing players
for games already in existence will advertise here.

Discussions relating to the pleasures and problems of GMing V_GM

You just spent 6 hours GMing a fantasy game and you had a
marvelous time. You wanna tell some of those stories to
someone, but most of your family just wouldn't be interested.
    What do you do?

Or ... You just spent several hours GMing and several problems
arose. You handled them as you thought best, but you'd like
some feedback as to how others might have dealt with the
    situation. Who can you ask?

V_GM is just the place for you. Discussions range from problem
players to rules questions to new plot ideas, whatever
interests this crazy bunch at the moment. Come add your five
    cents!

Discussion/Support of GURPS, and Expansion/Ideas V_GURPS

This conference is primarily for the discussion of GURPS and
GURPS supplements. Comparisons to Gurps with other systems is
allowed but should be a bit more than "GURPS RULES!", "GURPS
Stinks!" or "AD&D is Garbage!", etc. Variant house rules and
discussion of them are encouraged, as is the discussion on
specific topics within GURPS (How you handle particular
circumstances, etc). Games are not played in this conference,
but they CAN be advertised. Several authors and playtesters of
GURPS products are present in this conference... make use of
    them.

An interactive storyboard conference V_STORY

What can we say? It is an interactive StoryBoard concept...
currently we have one storyline... centered around Clyde
Hogarth's Tea Room in a pocket universe at the nexus of many
other universes. Take on the persona of a character from
books, movies, or your own twisted mind, and join in on the
fun... the true 'shared universe' concept.
