                 Pick of the Month

From all the files received every thirty days, it's tough to single
out one program as a Pick of the Month. This month, the chore is
doubly tough because I had to wrestle with my conscience. Our Pick
this month is from a friend, and from someone who maintains a support
board on my BBS. Conflict of interest? Perhaps, but his program is
so good I felt I would be remiss if I didn't select as THE ECHO'S
     PICK OF THE MONTH:

                                    PC PUBLISHER v1.30
                                     < PCPUB130.ZIP >

PC Publisher was designed for disktop publishers, authors, and anyone
wanting to publish or distribute their ASCII text files in a stand-alone
EXE program. In this way, their writings cannot be easily altered or
printed without their desire but still enable the distribution of their
work and without the need for another program for it to be viewed.
It's perfect for Sysops (your ALL FILES LIST), inter-office memos,
     letters--it's perfect for anything.

PC Publisher creates customizable stand-alone EXE's with scrolling
windows for viewing and optional menu, mouse, search, and print features.
There are an assortment of borders and color schemes available so that
you customize each text file and make it unique.

PC Publisher includes on-line help, mouse support, text file viewer with
search and print options, and 3 different shells to customize your stand-
alone programs (SHELL1 is included in the shareware version, all three
are included in the registered version).

The text file viewer enables you to load a text file for viewing,
searching, or printing. These features are the same ones available in
your finished EXE files. The size of the text file that can be loaded
into the text viewer depends upon available memory.

I use it for a number of projects--and when you check it out, you'll find
a ton of uses also. It's our PICK OF THE WEEK, from Steve Moore, Dallas,
     and Relative Software Innovations:
