Updating From v1.4 To v1.4 A
=============================

Copy TREASURE.EXE, TREASURE.SLB, TT_SETUP.EXE, TT_EDIT.EXE & TREASURE.NPD
into the game directory overwriting any existing files and this should do it.

Fixes And/Or Changes
====================
  NOTE: Most updates mentioned in the (Letter) release where made to
        all JNS Software Door Games. These are maintenace releases except
        where mentioned otherwise. Also some editors for JNS Doors where
        not complete at the time of this release. But will soon follow for
        each door. I didn't want to hold up the release because of the
        DAT editors.

  * Added new Multi-Node setup which makes setting up a breeze.

  * Made Setup & Editor external to main game EXE file. This free's up
    more memory when the door executes. Also fixes a lock-up problem with
    setup on some CPU's.

  * Colorized help text.

  * Done some general updating of code which should improve performance and
    possibly stop a few of those glitches some have experienced.

Updating from v1.2 to v1.3/v1.4
===============================
Run TT12TO14.COM file and this will make needed changes to the TREASURE.CHP
file. It will rename the current file to TREASURE.OLD and create a new
TREASURE.CHP. After all has been tested and is working correctly then you
can delete the TREASURE.OLD file. If upgrading from v1.3 do not run
TT12TO14.COM.

Then copy the TREASURE.EXE, TREASURE.SLB, TREASURE.HPS file over the old ones.

If your configuration file is any other name than TREASURE.CFG then rename it
to this name.

NOTE: If your running Multi-Node then you have more changes to make to
      get the door running from the BBS. See the Multi-Node Setup in the
      documentation file for instructions.

Fixes & Changes
===============

  * Now automatically detects and adjusts screen to 25 line mode for RIP
    Graphics. This stops the scrunching look on the users term.

  * Built in Setup program that use to be external. It will now also read in
    the games current .CFG file when executed if one is found. Support for
    environment variables were added and you know have to specify SETUP on the
    command line to execute it.

  * Added a new program in ALL game packages named JNSCHAMP that will allow
    editing of the Champion data. This will work for all JNS Software Games.
    See the documentation file for details.

  * Made major changes to the way this and all other JNS doors handle Multi-
    node support. The game now uses enviroment variables in the configuration
    file thus eliminating the need for multiple configuration files. See the
    documentation file for details.

  * With the above change the configuration is not read from the command line.

  * When using the fossil option an 'F' is now attached to the users baud
    rate like 'Baud: 9600 F'.

  * When using a Node ID environment variable in the configuration file the
    game will now attach the Node ID on the SysOp statis line to the baud
    rate like 'Baud: 9600 / Node 1'. This is handy when running DESQview.

  * Added a SPLIT command line option to give the sysop something different
    to look at. With this option it will split the registration box off the
    screen instead of the old clear screen. Just a toy.

Fixes & Changes
===============
   * Removed The Need For An Evaluation KEY.

   * Added a built-in .DAT (Player Record) editor. This is like the ones
     in JNS Edit but is now in with the game. Must be Registered To enable.

   * Improved fossil support routines. Please see FOSSIL.TXT file.

 January 14th, 1993 v1.2

Fixes & Changes
===============

   * Changed Spilt-Screen Chat to a small Mini Split-Screen Chat. This chat
     acts like a pop-up and when exited only that part of the screen needs
     to be restored.

   * Modified the F1-Time Up, F2-Time Down and the F7-Chat keys to work from
     any place in the game. Before they were not active till the user was
     actually playing the game.

   * Fixed an annoying F1-Time Up problem where if the user had less than 3
     minutes remaining, when incrementing thier time it would send warnings.
     It know surpresses these warning when adding time.

   * Added an optional command line parameter FOSSILOFF. This tells the game
     not to use the fossil even if it exist.

   * Fixed a bug in all the score displays were when there were more than
     about 74 players the program would abort with an error.

 December 4th, 1993 v1.1

Fixes & Changes
===============

   * Problem with scores being saved has been fixed. In Demo mode and also
     when using a Single Node Registered KEY file the scores where not being
     saved correctly.

   * Added Fossil Driver support. See FOSSIL.TXT for details.
