     If the LED on the Zoom Scanner will not come on... Have you  installed
the  Scanner  driver & Software? Is the cable properly seated, and  is  the
board   pressed firmly into the slot of your computer? (Make sure POWER  is
OFF  when  you check this). If it WAS working, have you installed  any  new
device or TSR (driver) at the time it stopped working?

     If  this  doesn't  help,  try re-installing  it  from  the  beginning,
following  each  step  carefully. Before installing  if  you  have  Windows
installed  on your computer, you can run MSD (a Dos program in the  Windows
directory) to see what COMports, addresses & IRQs are in use.

     If  none of this produces results, you should exchange the  unit  with
your dealer or call 617-423-1072 to get an RA# from Customer Service.
