@X38 @X3EHelp: @X3F(WIPE) Wipe fakey files from the file.dir                            @X3B@X0B
@X38@X3B@X0E

      This command will fake files.
@X0F
   Description
@X03
      WIPE moves fakefiles offline, creates dummy files to prevent repeated
      U/L, writes data (FAKE_FILE,SIZE,DATE,FAKE_USERNAME,WHO_FAKED,FAKE_DATE)
      to a DATA file (to be watched by SYSOP) and creates a .MOD file (Modulate
      file) to be insert at the file.dir. It also adjust D/Lbytes if the
      faking user like to adjust them.
@X0F
   Examples
@X03
      After entering the WIPE PPE, there will be 5 commands:

     (N) = similar to the N-command by PCB
           enter here the search date
     (Z) = similar to the Z-command by PCB
           use here the same syntax as the regular command
           Enter 'HELP Z' at prompt for further infos
     (Q) = quit WIPE

     (C) = create dummy(s) to prevent uploads of not wanted
           files.
           Enter name and extension here.
           At the prompt for the name, you can use a '?'
           to tell WIPE to create dummy(s) files for a multi volume
           release. If WIPE match a '?' in filename, it will ask
           you for start char and end char and will create as much
           as dummy files till the endchar is got.
           e.g.
           DUMMY?.ZIP as name

           Pay attention on filename length, because the system
           will cut any name longer as allowed 8+3 size.

           WIPE will ask for ?, now u can enter for start :1 and
           for end: 99..wipe will create DUMMY1.ZIP..DUMMY99.ZIP

           !!!if u enter for start :01 WIPE will
           create DUMMY01/02/03../09.ZIP..DUMMY99.ZIP
           or start: A end :F..-> DUMMYA.ZIP..DUMMYF.ZIP

           !!!WIPE will check first if the chosen file exist or not
           it will only create a dummy file, if no real file exists

           You can also enter e.g. '0' for start and 'z' for end, so
           WIPE will create dummies from 0-9 and from a-z

           (the function for ARJ multi releases will be added ASAP, like
           ARJ,A01,A02...)

     (W) = Wipe files from filelist
           enter filename for WIPE to search for, dont use any wildcards
           like '*' and '?', because WIPE will report any match to you
           and * ? arent allowed at filenames.
           e.g.
           ABCD will match in 12abcd34.ext or abcd.zip or wwwwabcd
           try to enter as excact as possible, so the search process
           will take short time for success.
           After WIPE matches data, it will display found data and
           ask you if you like to fake the stuff.
           If no, it will ask you for further searching.
           If yes, if will ask you for reason for fakeing
           (possible comments given by SYSOP cfg will be displayed also
           if you want use them, enter the number of chosen
           line e.g. '@X0E1@X03' for comment one, feel free to enter own comments
           here). After that, Wipe will ask you (if given access by SYSOP)
           if (m)ove or (d)elete the files, delete will work much faster
           but the files are gone!!!
           Finnaly it asks you (if configured) for adjusting files or not
           Finally (II), WIPE will ask you a last time for permission to fake.
           If you allow it, the process will start faking.

     (D) = describe missing or wrong filedescription
           Change descriptions of files.
           if u enter a empty line during the lines with filenames
           the old filedescripts will be copied otherwise an empty
           line means end of data!!! and stop asking for descripts

     (M) = Move file(s) between conferences.
           You may only move files to conferences in which you are
           registered to. Conferences without any filelist arent accessable.

     ESC   cut further searching
@X03
      You may enter the searchname at the prompt, this
      will skip the menu and jump directly to the searchloop.
@X0F
   Example
@X03
      WIPE FILENAME will search for FILENAME at current DIR.
@X0F
      The system will update the current DIR as soon as possible.
