This is a demo version of Hamilton C shell. It may be freely copied
and distributed world-wide. You may post this material on any internal

CD-ROMs you may be compiling.

If you do reproduce or distribute this material, all the files included
here must be reproduced in their original form. You may not charge any
more than an incidental reproduction fee. You may not include these

The demo version is distributed as a set of .zip files, compressed with
PKZIP (available from PKWARE, Inc, 9025 N. Deerwood Dr., Brown Deer,
WI 53223-2437 or phone 414-354-8699):

csh-x86.zip Subdirectories with all the executables for the
                  Intel version of Windows NT.
csh-mips.zip Subdirectories with all the executables for the
MIPS R4x00 version of Windows NT.
csh-axp.zip Subdirectories with all the executables for the
DEC Alpha version of Windows NT.
csh-os2.zip Subdirectories with all the executables for OS/2.
csh-ps.zip A raw Postscript version of the User Guide and Language
Reference manual. Prints as over 260 pages.
csh-txt.zip An ASCII text version of the manual (not a perfect
representation of the manual, but readable).
csh-doc.zip A number of documents describing the Windows NT version
of Hamilton C shell, including a one-page product
overview, a PowerPoint slide show, instructions on
how to demo the C shell, and a two-page listing of
                  the key bindings.
csh-doc2.zip A similar set of documents describing the OS/2 version
                  of Hamilton C shell.

The files containing the executables contain subdirectories. To properly
restore the directory structure, use the pkunzip -d option. Here's an
example, decompressing all the files for the Intel/NT version of the demo:

mkdir c:\hamilton <--- or choose another directory name
   a:
   pkunzip -d csh-x86.zip c:\hamilton\
   pkunzip csh-ps.zip c:\hamilton\
   pkunzip csh-txt.zip c:\hamilton\
   pkunzip csh-doc.zip c:\hamilton\

Once it's been installed, just

   c:
   cd \hamilton
   demo
