The L.I. Book Manager<tm> is a document organizer. How many times have
you downloaded a Network Packet and unzipped all the text files within and
had no idea where to begin. L.I. Book Manager could assist network packet
distributors in organizing their various text files into an easy to use
GUI menu environment. They could list the files in order that they should
be read. This would make it much simplier for the novice to step through
the package and have a better understanding of what he/she's looking at.
Or perhaps you have downloaded a shareware package with nearly 200k doc's.
This could be broken up into many smaller subjects and L.I. Book Manager
could act as the Table of Contents. In addition, the L.I. Book Manager also
has the capabilities to Execute .EXE and .COM files from the menu. This
would allow for an organized menu display a package with small utilities.
Many Network Packets distributed today have an executable application
program that automatically builds an application file for the user. This
program could be executed directly from L.I. Book Manager as a menu
selection. In addition, L.I. Book manager will display ANSI files for the
user as well in 80x25 or 80x50 mode. To top everything off, L.I. Book
Manager comes with an easy to use Book Compiler program and a freely
distributable book reader program. One of the nice features of L.I. Book
Manager is when you've completed compiling your book and have created all
the necessary accessory files you can rename the reader to whatever you
desire (The book data file matching that name) and distribute it with little
or not reference to L.I. Book Manager. Their are many uses for this multi-
purpose utility and I will leave the rest up to your imagination.
