The GramSlam Grammar and Style Checker 01-Jun-91 3.20 Phil Comeau Software This folder contains a demonstration of the GramSlam Grammar and Style Checker. GramSlam checks documents for over 1200 incorrect, awkward, or wordy phrases and miscelaneous punctuation problems. When it finds a problem in your document, GramSlam describes the problem for you and offers a suggestion for improvement. GramSlam can check document files created by all word processing and text editing packages. GramSlam can display, print, or save to a disk file any problems it encounters in your documents. GramSlam reports the offending phrase in context. GramSlam runs on Atari 520ST, 1040ST, STe, Mega, and TT computers, in any resolution that supports 80-column lines. It works with all TOS versions. You can run GramSlam as a desk accessory or GEM application. To use GramSlam as a desk accessory, rename GRAMSLAM.PRG to GRAMSLAM.ACC, then place GRAMSLAM.ACC, GRAMSLAM.INF, and GRAMSLAM.GSP in the root folder of the disk drive you normally boot from. Reboot your computer to load the GramSlam desk accessory. GramSlam is NOT public domain. This archive contains a demonstration version of GramSlam. The demonstration version of GramSlam is fully functional and contains all the features found in the full version of GramSlam.
