PLEASE NOTE!  If you haven't yet upgraded your copy of Warp 9 to version
3.72, you must do so before running this patch!  There have been two
online updates before this one: one to go from version 3.70 to 3.71, and
one to go from version 3.71 to 3.72.  You will find these online
updates in the same place where you got this file. 


What This Update Fixes
----------------------

The patch program included with this text file updates Warp 9 3.72 to
version 3.73.  Here's a list of the bugs fixed in this version:

  o  under some versions of TOS, the automatic picture loading feature
     would crash.

  o  turning Extend-O-Save off for a specific program with the 'S0'
     command didn't work, if 'S0' was the only option set for that
     program.

  o  this one isn't a bug fix, it's a small change: if you have a desktop
     picture loaded and you run a program with another picture assigned to
     it, when you quit that program your original picture will be reloaded
     from the same path where you originally located it.  Previous
     versions of Warp 9 would look for the original picture in the Control
     Panel's default directory, regardless of its original location.


How To Do It
------------

To perform the patch, follow these simple instructions:

  1.  IMPORTANT!!!  Make a copy of your Warp 9 program file and store it
      in a safe place, just in case something goes wrong during the
      upgrade process.  Don't modify your only copy!

  2.  Run the program SUPERZAP.PRG, which is included with this archive
      file.  When the program starts, click the button labeled "Read ZAP
      Data."  A GEM file selector will appear. 

  3.  Use the file selector to locate and select the ZAP file for either
      the ST or the TT version of Warp 9, depending on which one you use. 
      (The ZAP file will be named either W9ST_373.ZAP or W9TT_373.ZAP.)
      SUPERZAP will load the ZAP file, and the button underneath "Read
      ZAP Data" will now read "WARP9_ST v3.72->3.73" (or "WARP9_TT..."),
      and become selectable.

  4.  Click on this button and a GEM file selector appears, letting you
      locate the copy of Warp 9 that is to be updated.  Select the Warp 9
      program file and SUPERZAP will do its job, leaving you with a
      working copy of Warp 9 3.73.

  5.  Repeat steps 2-4 to update your copy of the Warp 9 Control Panel
      desk accessory (WARP9_CP.ACC) to version 1.3a.  The ZAP file for the
      Control Panel is named W9CP_13A.ZAP.
