                 UPDATE MANUAL FOR REQUEST V.109
                         WHAT'S NEW !!  


     Yowsa!  Sorry it took me sooooo long to get around to this 
update.  I'll quickly list some of the things I've been tackling.  

     First of all, Request can now be very easily installed for 
use with Hotwire and Neodesk.  As a matter of fact, it WANTS you 
very much to use it that way!  There's no special instructions, 
just sent it a command line and let it munch.  Though, I've been 
told by a beta tester that Maxifile doesn't clear the command 
line before executing it so "old" command lines build up in the 
command line buffer giving you a list of garbarge that Request 
can't stomach.  Don't ask me, I'm just the programmer...  
Let me know if this happens to you.  I will be investigating.  

     I've improved the way that Request remembers file selector 
paths and last used .LZH files.  You shouldn't have to paw around 
to find the .LZH file you're working on as much now.  

     Fixed a dumb GEM menu snap disorder when using in monochrome 
resolution.  This only affected the config menu panel. 

     No, I still haven't added keyboard command keys.
Maybe in the future. (2067 AD) :-)

     I do, however, want to add a real text viewer for the show file 
routine.  That would be nice.  Perhaps the option of printing a 
file as well.  The poor little command line will be like a 
clogged drain screaming for Draino!

**** OVERSCAN USERS!!!!
     
     Reponse to the last version (1.00) stated that redraws were 
a problem with overscan modifications.  I would very much like to 
make Request compatible in this area.  I have a bit of an idea 
how to do this, contact me if you'd like to test it.
