Here is a series of test used to evaluate system performance. When you run the program you can specify the number of seconds to run each segment of the tests. If no value is entered a default value of 60 seconds is used (the test may not run for exactly the time entered, but it should be close to to value entered). At the end, this program gives the performance relative to a Sun IPC, some randon 33 mhz 486, and an ST. The timer method used has a 2 second resolution. Thus, there is a certain amount of error in the results. The longer the test is run the smaller the error. SRC
