Bermuda Software Productions and Bruno Essmann are pleased to release the Bermuda Clock for Atari TOS-based computers. The Bermuda Clock provides many benefits over other existing clocks that are on the market: 1) Display time with, or without seconds in the upper right corner. 2) Display the free amount of memory in the upper right corner, below the system time. on computers with the capability of using FastRam the free amount of memory may be displayed separate. 3) Display the state of the CapsLock-key with one of eigth different symbols. 4) The Bermuda Clock works on any TOS-based Atari computer in any screen resolution (excluding resolution with a system font height of less than 16pt, e.g. ST-Low and ST-Med resoulution) with any video card in any color resolution. 5) The Bermuda Clock runns, even if there is no free memory available. 6) The Bermuda Clock uses but GEM-Functions and does not bend any vectors - is thus "crash-secure". The screen resolution can be changed without causing the clock to crash (as many I've seen do). Future extensions to the Bermuda Clock: 1) The Bermuda Clock will run in ST-Low and ST-Med resoulutions with but some restrictions. 2) The Bermuda Clock will be extended with a screen-saver capability which will run in any resolution without bending any vectors... For comments please contact: Bermuda Software Productions Bruno Essmann Langgrtweg 5 8047 CH-Zrich or by Fido-Mail: 2:301/801.91 If you don't like the CapsLock symbols, fell free to create some, that are more beautiful and send them to me: They will be included in future versions of the Bermuda Clock (if you even add a stamp and a disk, I'll right send you the latest version). If you are interested in writing a "cool" screen saver, please send it to me - it will be included in the Bermuda Clock. But, however be aware, that the screen saver MUST run in any screen resolution (including ST-Low and ST-Med) and with any video card (and of course in any color resolution)... Thanks go to: Patrick: may the Bermuda Software Productions live! Amy: it is sometimes hard, when Patrick and me sit in front of the computer for hours and hours... Frick: for finding a nasty gem-bug (which didn't occur when having Let'em Fly installed). When leaving the settings dialog, the outher frame of the dialog would not be redrawn. Fixed in version 1.1. Borland: for the best atari c-compiler. I hope Application System will release (as soon as possible) a c++ version. Atari: for a great computer !!! Every programmer, that writes clean applications, which run on any TOS- based Atari computer in any screen and color resolution (we need more of those applications!!!)
