paragraph, DO NOT use this program !

    PURPOSE
    -------
The ProLock! screen locker is designed to lock access to your system in
the event you need to leave it unattended for a few minutes (and don't
want anyone playing with it). A special accessory password is also
available which allows ProLock! to intercept any attempts to bypass it
through the rebooting of your system.

    OCULTAR PIPELINE
    ----------------
ProLock! v.1.07 is now a part of the Ocultar package and, as such, is
governed by ALL the terms set forth in your Ocultar registration
agreement. ALL versions of ProLock! PRIOR to v.1.07 are now freeware !
You can check the ProLock! copyright page to see which version of
    ProLock! you are running.

    INSTALLING PROLOCK!
    -------------------
ProLock! works as either a program or as an accessory. You merely need
change the last 3 letters of it's name and place it in the proper
    directory.

    ACCESSORY PASSWORD
    ------------------
If when saving your configuration you also opt to save the password code,
ProLock! will, when run as an accessory, prompt you for the password code
every time the accessory is LOADED into memory. This allows ProLock! to
protect your system in the event someone reboots your system in an
    attempt to bypass ProLock!.

If, when you save your configuration, the "code" line is blank (in other
words there is NO password), ProLock! will NOT intercept the accessory
    LOAD with a password prompt.

If you have MultiDesk Deluxe you can keep ProLock! as a "non-resident"
(MDX) accessory and STILL benefit from a saved password code ! Simply
load the MDXTITLE.PRG which comes with MDD and specify the -I option
within it, ie: PROLOCK!.ACC -I . This will allow ProLock! to perform
the password prompt option without having to load into memory !

NOTE: If you select "reload MDXs" from within MDD, ProLock! WILL, if
set up to do so, present you with the "password prompt" before allowing
MDD to reload the rest of the MDXs.

    PASSWORD CODE
    -------------
This is where you will enter the CODE which will be used to "unlock"
the screen. You may enter from 1 to 6 characters.

    BAR
    ---
Next is the "title bar" line. The text (if any) on this line will appear
at the top of your "locked" screen.

    TRANSPARENT MODE
    ----------------
When this button is chosen, a thin film, upon locking the screen, will
cover the existing screen. This means that you will still be able to
see (more or less) the screen from which you invoked the lockout. This
will allow you to determine the environment to which you are returning.

    REPLACE MODE
    ------------
When this button is chosen, the current desktop, below the menu bar,
will be completely overwritten (hidden from view) by one of 34 possible
patterns. The patterns will cycle every 68 minutes or so (a new pattern
    will appear every 2 minutes).

    SCREEN SAVER
    ------------
When this button is selected the screen will "invert" every 2 minutes.
This is designed to help avoid phosphor burn on your monitor. If you
already have a screen saver installed you probably do not need to
    activate this one.

    HIDE MENU
    ---------
This option allows the menu bar to be hidden when a screen lockout is
    invoked.

    INSTALL
    -------
This button activates the screen lockout. Once locked, you will not be
able to access your system until you enter your password CODE. Simply
type in your CODE and hit the <RETURN> or <ENTER> key. The Install
button is also the default button. This means that you can select it
with either the <RETURN> or <ENTER> key.

    PACKING PROLOCK!
    ----------------
ProLock! saves it's configuration to itself. Because of this you MUST NOT
alter PROLOCK!.PRG/ACC in ANY way ! This includes packing, squishing or
ANY type of alteration. You CAN recompress it for archival storage
purposes since the file needs to be decompressed before you can use it.

If you attempt to save your configuration to an altered ProLock!, it will
destroy itself. The file is so tiny that there is really no need to pack
it anyway, but just in case you were thinking about it...:-)

    SAVING YOUR PROLOCK! CONFIGURATION
    ----------------------------------
Select the SAVE button. A fileselector will appear. Locate PROLOCK!.PRG
(or PROLOCK!.ACC, depending on how you have it installed) and click on
the OKAY button in the fileselector. ProLock! will then save its
    configuration to itself.

    EXIT
    ----
Click in the little box in the upper left hand corner of the panel to
exit (just like closing a GEM window).

    INFO
    ----
Click on the INFO button to call up the copyright screen. Clicking on
the little box in the upper left hand corner of the COPYRIGHT panel
returns you to the main panel.

    PROLOCK!.CUR
    ------------
This is a special mouse cursor file created with UncleMouse. If this
file is present, in the SAME directory as PROLOCK!.PRG/ACC, when the
program is loaded, the new mouse cursor file will be loaded (in place
of the programs own mouse cursor).

This file DOES NOT need to be present in order to use the program.
If it isn't found, the program uses it's own default mouse cursor.

Users can create their OWN mouse cursor with UncleMouse 1.0a or newer
and use that cursor within PROLOCK! . Simply make sure that the file
is named PROLOCK!.CUR and that it is in the SAME directory as
    PROLOCK!.PRG/ACC
