L„ufer Version 1.09

                      A program for running more programs

    If you are me you are finding that you are having many programs
    what will not all fit on your desktop. If this is so I will think
    you will find L„ufer useful as it will allow you to put programs
    you cant fit on the desktop into it and then L„ufer will run them 
    for you !


    I must tell you that you are using L„ufer at only a risk to you 
    if something is not right when you use it. You must agree to this or
    you can not use it. This is called a disclaimer. It means that I am
    not responsible for physical or mental damage when you use it.
    If you are not accepting FULLY the results of your actions and saying
    that I am not responsible, then you can not use L„ufer. I have not
    known of any troubles but cant tell what you are doing, so I must
    say this.


    BOXS
    ----
    When you look at the boxs that are empty you will know they are for
    programs to be in. You will then click a right maus button until a
    file selector is open. This makes you select a program and so it comes
    to be in the box. Also, a box program will also be replaced if you
    file select another program to be in the box. You will then come to
    save LAUFER.DAT when you are done.

    LOAD
    ----
    When you are clicking LOAD you are telling L„ufer to file select a
    LAUFER.DAT file. You are also saving L„ufer files to other names
    and this is ok. However, L„ufer will load only a file LAUFER.DAT
    when it runs by itself. Because of this LAUFER.DAT must be where
    LAUFER.PRG is so L„ufer finds it.

    SAVE
    ----
    Now you click SAVE and file select LAUFER.DAT. This is a file we
    have talked of and so you must choose. If you are having a full
    LAUFER.DAT you will make a new file name which is ok.

    SORT
    ----
    Now if you cant see a file you will make them like a alphabet by
    clicking on a SORT button. You must also save a LAUFER.DAT before
    ending so the alphabet can stay.

    RETURN
    ------
    So if you want L„ufer to come back when a program is done you will
    click on RETURN which will stay on. This button must also be in
    LAUFER.DAT to stay on or off. If you are not using return you are
    using the desktop instead.

    If a program says GEM must clean a screen L„ufer can not. So now
    you must go to a desktop to fix this. After this you will go back
    to L„ufer.

    INFO
    ----
    This tells you about L„ufer.

    HELP
    ----
    This helps you remember things.

    WARN
    ----
    This makes alerts appear before you will do something.

    EXIT
    ----
    This makes L„ufer go away.

    INSTALL APPLICATION
    -------------------
    This is so you will make file names go to programs which can work
    as a install application. Instead you will give the file name to
    L„ufer so L„ufer will make the file name go to a program you
    will choose.

    If you have the NeoDesk you will "drop" the file name on top of
    LAUFER.PRG. If you have a GEM desktop you will use a install
    application to make a "document type".

    When this is done it will make LAUFER.PRG run. So L„ufer appears
    you will see  cmd: A:\FILENAME.INF  appear over L„ufer. This will
    be the file name you have send to L„ufer from a desktop.

    Now you will press a [CONTROL] key and a left maus on a program which   
    will know this file name. L„ufer will make this program run and know
    about the file name. If the program knows of this file name it will
    load it, or else it wont.

    You can see in your manual how a application is installed or becomes
    a NeoDesk active icon to do more of this.

    PROGRAMS PATH
    -------------
    Hold a [CONTROL] key and right maus button on a program box to
    know the full "path" of a programs file name.

    UNCLEMAUS
    ---------
    L„ufer is also support the UncleMaus CURsor file standard ! If you
    are having LAUFER.CUR where is LAUFER.PRG you are having custom maus !
    All CURsor you make must have a name LAUFER.CUR so L„ufer will know
    it. The LAUFER.CUR here is of a GEM arrow.

    NACHWORT
    --------
    I guess you know everything now. I have only a STe so I am hoping it
    will work for you.
  
    This program is FREEWARE and not Public Domain. You are free to use
    it without obligations but I must still own it, so you can not make it
    yours.

    I would like that you can share this with people you will meet. I am
    asking that you are not selling this program as it is not allowed.
    You are able to include it so that it does not cost anything to a
    person who gets it. I would also like for it to have these file names
    with it.

    LAUFER  .PRG  -  The program
    LAUFER  .DAT  -  The configuration file.
    LAUFER  .TXT  -  This is what you are reading.
    LAUFER  .CUR  -  UncleMaus maus cursor file.
