Movies At Night An Extendo-Save Module For Warp 9 Version 1.1 Copyright 1993, By Anthony Watson ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Version 1.1 - December 3, 1993 - "Movies At Night" can now randomly select a MOVIE to play at each reboot, or when you reload the module. Up to 255 MOVIES are supported for random selection. If only one MOVIE is in the directory, that MOVIE will always be loaded. To be recognized for selection, all MOVIES must end with a .MOV extension. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Movies At Night" requires Warp 9 version 3.70 or later, and only operates in ST Low or ST Medium! Place your desired MOVIE's into the same directory as the MOVIE.EXT module. Then using the Warp 9 control panel, load the MOVIE.EXT module. Be sure to save your setup when you are done. There's nothing to configure, and nothing to do but watch. What a glorified waste of time and disk space! "Movies At Night" is SHAREWARE!!! If you enjoy it, please send $10.00 to: Anthony Watson Mountain Software 6911 NE Livingston Road Camas, Washington 98607 In return I'll send you a disk packed with additional movies... (Send $20, and I'll send you two disks...) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm considering writing an 'improved' version of my MOVIE creator program for release as SHAREWARE. This would allow the user to do as I do, and create their own MOVIES from a series of Degas picture files. However, before I invest anymore time in this project, I'd like to know if anyone else is even interested? If you are, how about leaving me E-mail on GEnie (A.WATSON6), and tell me what you think of "Movies At Night"! Also, if anyone is interested, I'll make up a file describing the MOVIE's file format for the programmer types out there. Maybe someone could write a cool .SEQ to .MOV converter or a .FLI to .MOV converter? Thanks, Anthony Watson
