AUTOBORT - Auto Folder Utility Written by L A Eldridge Copyright 1992 FILES CONTAINED: AUTOBORT.PRG AUTOBORT.TXT INTRODUCTION: Autobort is a small program which resides in your 'AUTO' folder on your boot up disc drive. It allows you to abort the 'AUTO' folder boot up after a reset. The position which 'AUTOBORT' has within the 'AUTO' folder will determine which files can be skipped after a reset. If there are files which must always be executed after a reset eg setting the internal clock or loading in a ramdisc, then these files must come before the 'AUTOBORT.PRG' file. The order which GEM normally shows files in a window is not necessarily the order in which those files are stored on disc. If you need to re-order your 'AUTO' folder then you will need to MOVE all the files into the ROOT directory if you have an STe or you will have to COPY all the files to the ROOT directory then delete all the files in the 'AUTO' folder. You will then have to place each file into the 'AUTO' folder in the order you want. Once you have re-organised your 'AUTO' folder to get 'AUTOBORT' to work simply hold down one of the following keys until a message appears on the screen:- CONTROL LEFT-SHIFT ALTERNATE CAPS LOCK RIGHT-SHIFT I hope you find 'AUTOBORT' as useful as I did.
