ExtenDOS v1.1 Performance
                    -------------------------

The following comparisons show the times in minutes and seconds
to perform some basic tasks on CD-ROM.  Various combinations of
system, CD-ROM drive, and operating system were tested.  Times
were measured with a timer accurate to the nearest second, so
small times have a high margin of error.

The CD-ROM used for tests (a)/(b)/(c) was the Source Code CD-ROM
(March 1992) from Walnut Creek.  The 'Show Information' showed a
total of 1630 folders, 13398 files, and 593664550 bytes used.  The
CD-ROM used for test (d) was the GEMini Atari CD-ROM (December 1993),
also from Walnut Creek.

In the following table, 'n/a' means not applicable, '*' means not
measured, XmYs means X minutes & Y seconds.
