*------------------------------------* | Digital Clock | | | | An Extend-O-Save Module for Warp 9 | | | | Version 1.2 | | | | ½ 1993 CodeHead Technologies | | by Charles F. Johnson | *------------------------------------* Digital Clock displays a constantly updated clock, floating around your screen and bouncing off the edges. It requires Warp 9 v3.80 or higher to function as a screensaver, but you can run it without Warp 9 in a special "demonstration mode" by renaming it to CLOCK.PRG and launching it just as you would any other program. If you use CodeHead's HotWire program launching utility, there's no need to rename it; you can run Digital Clock as a program simply by clicking the "Running Man" icon and selecting CLOCK.EXT. Digital Clock is completely resolution-independent, and will work in all screen modes on ST, TT, or Falcon computers. Demonstration Mode ------------------ When you run Digital Clock as a program (in other words, in demonstration mode) you can view it and play with its options for two minutes. When Digital Clock is loaded as a screensaver module by Warp 9, it normally saves configuration changes automatically when you exit by clicking the OK button. However, when run in demonstration mode Digital Clock does not save your changes. Configuration Options --------------------- FONT: Digital Clock allows you to choose from among four different typefaces for the clock display; Dutch (Times), Swiss (Helvetica), Charter, or Vag Rounded. SPEED: You get two flavors here -- SLOW or FAST. SHOW SECONDS: If this button is selected, Digital Clock shows the seconds ticking away (e.g. 12:15:27). Deselect the button to show only the hour and minutes fields (e.g. 12:15). Version 1.1 ----------- This version fixes a small bug that prevented Digital Clock from saving its configuration. No other changes. Version 1.2 ----------- This version fixes a problem which prevented Digital Clock from working correctly on systems without a built-in clock chip. If You Don't Have it Yet... --------------------------- ...then you need Warp 9, the feature-packed graphics acceleration utility that also contains a modular screensaver similar to After Dark (tm). The Warp 9 package comes on two disks, includes dozens of interesting and entertaining screensaver modules, and sells for only $44.95 retail. You can buy it at your favorite dealer (make sure to ask for version 3.80) or directly from CodeHead Technologies. A press release documenting the many new features in Warp 9 v3.80 has been distributed through the electronic media. Owners of previous versions of Warp 9 can upgrade to v3.80 by sending their original disk, $25 for the upgrade, plus $3 shipping (4$ Canada, $6 overseas) to: CodeHead Technologies Voice: (213) 386-5735 P.O.
