DEMO VERSION iS INCOMPLETE, Modules as well as certain functions are missing! Prism Paint II, the modular painting and animation tool. Hi! to anyone who uploaded or got this DEMO somehow or the other. This product is the PRISM PAINT II, despite what you may see at first. This is mainly because the people at ARTIS Software had a product before called ARTIS 1, 2 and 3.0. What then happened was that worked together to produce the new Prism Paint, which in fact should be more appropriately called Artis Animator. Considering that Prism Paint 1.01 was really nothing spectacular (or 1.5b) and that it has nothing to do with the original Prism Paint. However Prism Paint (1.1 or 1.5) user's have the option for an upgrade path. Ok, I will now give a brief description how to do a few things. However consider that this is not exactly a full manual and I will be very scarce in explaining a few things. Before you start you are required to input th maximum amount of frames you wish to edit, this is also a kind of protection. So if you input 30 Frames, then that is your maximum frames, period. Prism Paint (or ARTIS Animator, whatever you like) has now got the added option to expand the memory. Prism Paint will reserve a certain amount of memory just for artis (memory protection), so you need to change the settings eg. 85% is default, if you have 99% then you make the most out of it (of course, take into consideration acc's and other utilities, especially when you run MultiTOS). Try out the functions, just click on them. You will see that each function has a number and name to it, in the manual these are exactly referenced and described. The On-line Help is available but not incorporated in th demo version, saving is disabled as well as the picture is frazzled with DEMO VERSION. If you click on the ARTIS logo you can move around the screen with the toolbox. On the top left hand corner of the menu you can select those to get more functions. The Pencil has basic draing tools, the next option has all the programming tools (You can program your own efects), the fire is the extended effects tools, try out the bubbles, they are really quite neat. The three air brushes in the extended mode have a true color mixing effect if you run it in True Color NOVA Modus only. It might work with other TC boards, can't confirm it yet as that brush was designed on a NOVA. The last option are various types and modes of Cut&Paste. The Info box is the animation information box (e.g. ping pong, loop's and fps etc.) the magnifiying glass is designed in our view perfectly for user friendliness. Also virutal screens are incorporated. Try this: Boot up n a 640x480 screen rez and run prism paint. Then go to option 14 set parameter, which is on the bottom left corner (the arrow). There select change to eg. 1024x768. Not press OK and if you select the pointing finger, move view option then while clicking on the screen you can literally drag the screen, like you would a piece of cardboard on a wall, ok, terrible analogy....but who cares :) In runs in all modi, st, tt, falcon + gfx boards with vdi. Now, the demo version is incomplete (Duuuuhh! most of them are!). Not all the modules are present e.g. the TGA and PNT modules are missing as well as the optimised GIF module (as the GIF module in th sys folder doesn't really cut it as it re-sort's the palette).
