This DEMO of PIC CAT v1.0 is in the public domain and is free of any obligations on your part as long as this text file remains with the demo in any arc/lzh or uploads. Thanks for your support! FVIEWIMG.ACC v1.0 (demo included here) The fully configurable and _-~FAST+ working version (sans those little initial alerts) of Full View IMG Accessory is only part of the IMAGE CAT package! The working version includes a configurable load buffer (only 2K on the demo) which increases loading speed and also compatibility with medium resoution color monitors. The full version will allow you to view more than 5 image files, too (the demo won't). This accessory is optimized for use on large screen monitors and supports single plane devices with resolutions up to 32000 x 32000! IMG CAT v2.0 Originally released as a successful ShareWare item, version 2.0 of IMG CAT works WITHOUT GDOS!!! That's right! NO GDOS! Version 2.0 will print from 6 to 15 IMG files per page on EPSON FX, EPSON LQ, HPDJ/LJ and Atari SLM804 printers. Due to intelligent memory management and interleaved disk/printer tasking, the new version is nearly twice as fast as the GDOS laden ShareWare version, WILL NOT CRASH due to bad IMG files, and will print a full 15 IMG files per page regardless of memory configuration (runs on a 520)! No need to buy an expensive printer driver. Drivers are built in! Full IMG preview available within the program! GREAT STUFF! PIC CAT v1.0 (demo included here) This little ditty will catalogue up to 18 (depending on your printer configuration) Degas (PC#/PI#), Tiny (TNY,TN#), and NEO pics per page on EPSON FX, EPSON LQ, HPDJ/LJ and Atari SLM804 printers. Low and medium resolution pics are grey scaled with utmost accuracy in a user configurable fashion and can be screened for the printed page as per your printer's resolution (select NO PICS for Epson 9 pins). This baby can spit out a page on the laser in minutes and allows you to preview pics on monochrome monitors as they will be screened and dithered. MAC CAT v1.0 With the advent of Spectre GCR, many folks have begun a collection of MAC pics from the Apple world. MAC CAT will catalogue up to 15 MAC (monochrome) pics per page on the above mentioned printers and allows previews of full pics before printing. MAC CAT can detect those "PSEUDO" MAC pics created by Migraph's Touch Up and those from the PC world and will print them flawlessly. ShareWare items included Lest you think that this is just a three legged cat, the package also includes IMG_INDX, a verbose text printout of IMG file info, and CD3, a verbose directory program that lists your directories a full 10 meg worth of files in tiny text on HPDJ and EPSON FX/LQ and compatibles. Also on the disk is a special "dispatcher" program that gives easy access to all the included software items from the desktop. All CAT programs are written in tight _-~FAST+ assembly language (they run on half a meg!) and can easily save their 'environment' so that you won't have to click all those buttons each and every time you run them! All programs run on color monitors in medium resolution, monochrome monitors, and are optimized for use on BIG screen monitors. The IMAGE CAT package can be had at your dealer for only $24.95. If your dealer doesn't have it (he should) then you can get it from us! Check or Money order US funds only. Shipping is free to the continental US. For folks outside and Canada the charge is only $2.00 additional. OHIO residents please add 5.5% sales tax ($26.35 total). COD (cash only, no checks) add $3.00. Call or write: \/\/iz\/\/orks! PO Box 45 Girard, Ohio 44420-0045 (216) 539-5623 MON-FRI 10-5 Eastern time PS Here's a hint! (Actually, we're just checking to see if you read this far along in these messages). If you rename FVIEWDEM.ACC to FVIEWDEM.PRG and run it from the desktop, it will run at full speed because it allocates the necessary memory! Try it! The full working version of the ACC will run that fast too! Within ANY program that allows access to the menu bar. The demo versions have a few extra alerts and will always print the text "A Demonstration" over the pics on the page (along with a few other minor inconveniences). These things are not present in the working versions.
