Doctor Who And The Daleks


     This game is based on the old video game "Berzerk". Since I
got gamesick for Berzerk, I went ahead and made a game similar to
it. The game has Digital Sound (as always). As you can guess,
Dr Who is the man running around the screen shooting at the
Daleks (a group of Kaled humanoids that were mutated into blobs
and placed into robot bodies). The Daleks are bred for battle
and they will accept nothing less than the conquest of the
universe!

     This game is just a shoot-em-up game that will go on and on
until the Doctor runs out of lives. The game has four different
mazes and two different kinds of Daleks. The gray Daleks are shown
for the first four mazes, then the gold Daleks. The Daleks shoot
slowly for the gray Daleks, but get faster for the gold Daleks.
Use the joystick to move the timelord through the maze. The game
should also work under TOS 1.4 as well as the earlier versions.

     You can pause the game and resume it by pressing the space
bar on your computer. When the game ends, you can either press the
joystick fire button to start a new game or you can press CNTRL-C
to end the game.

     I'm releasing this game to the public domain. By now, you
must be wondering: Why??? Well...
1) I don't really have much faith in Shareware.
2) I'm trying to establish a name and reputation for myself.
3) I also wrote it for fun AND to keep the legends of the older
arcade games alive.
