A while back I wrote a small document file for Pagestream that would display all possible characters in a font as well as most of the attributes. I have converted this over to PGS2 format and here it is. First of all the basic font for the document is CGTimes, this came with your copy of PGS2. #1. Load the document into PGS2, #2. Select the object menu and then rubber band all the objects below the text "24 Point Type all Characters Shown", #3. Select the Font menu, #4. Select Change Block, #5. Select the font you wish displayed, #6. CLICK ON THE SIZE BOX AND PRESS , BLANK THIS BOX AND LEAVE IT BLANK, #7. Click on OK, #8. Select the TEXT mode and click on the "e" in "Font Name" to set the cursor. #9. Backspace over "Font Name" until are characters are erased, #10. Type in the name of the font you are printing, #11. Print the Document. #12 Don't save the document as it will overwrite the existing file. Step #6. tells PGS to preserve the existing size of font rather than making all the text the same size. NOTE: if something pops up in the 'Attribute' box select that box and blank it with a also. I hope the little file proves as useful to you as it is to me.
