 -- D2M Version 1.00 --

D2M ("Dessine Moi un Mouton")
Here is the D2M demo version 1.00. To get the complete version
then you have 2 possibilities :

1) if you have bought this soft, you have just to fill correctly
the register form which is in the documentation and send it
back to us. Then you will receive a complete version of D2M with
your name.

2) if you've got this demo version by swapping or by downloading,
then you just have to contact us (see our address below). If you
live in France, we will give you the address of the nearest ATARI
dealer or we will tell you the price to get the complete version.
Now, D2M isn't translated into English.

** ABOUT THIS DEMO VERSION **

You can install this version on your hard disk or use it from
the floppy disk. To tell D2M where it can find drivers for
loading, saving & effets, you just have to choose the Option
"Chemins..." in "Options" of D2M, and tell it the right pathnames
and save the configuration.
Fully GEM-based, D2M works with MultiTOS (MiNT) & SpeedoGDOS.
Under MultiTOS, you take advantage of the windows'iconification
and "Drag & Drop" protocol (take one file from one of desktop's
windows and put it in one of D2M's windows in order to load this
file), and with Speedo you can use true type fonts.

This demo version doesn't save, support the "Drag & Drop" only in
import and doesn't print. On top of that, we voluntarily have
reduced the number of drivers. framing also doesn't exist in
this version.

** NOTE TO PROGRAMMERS **

Drivers for loading, saving & effects used by D2M are Public
Domain , as sources of these files. So you can use them in your
own applications.
RIM files (drivers for loading) are used to load images but also
can be used to control scanners or digit video cards or used in
order to generate images etc...
WIM Files (drivers for saving) can save single images or
animations, while IFX files (effects) can modify or analyse images
in different ways: one source image which will be modified
whithout changing of size (video interversion, pixelisation,
etc...), one source image giving a second one with a different
size (rotation, d‚formation...), two sources images modify each
other (mapping...), and at last two source images can generate a
third one (interpolation, morphing...).
The RIMs, WIMs & IFXs files are really easy to make. On your
request, we are ready to provide you sources and documentation
about these files, how to make and use them. They can be made in
assembly language or in C.
For example, making a RIM file for Neochrome took only 25
minutes and one IFX file in grey scale in True Color, less than a
quarter of an hour !

Enjoy using D2M!
