                       Celebrity Pseudonym
                          By A. Baggetta

This is a demo version of my game "Celebrity Pseudonym" done
in GFA BASIC. I am new to this version of BASIC, although I have
been working with regular Atari BASIC for about four years.
The game is simple to play and is a type of trivia game that
can be enjoyed by all ages. It is based on the fact that many
famous people (actors, politicians, scientists, musicians, etc.)
usually take a fake name (pseudonym) when they become well known.
The player must guess these names. You will be surprised at how
many you already know.
This game is really TWO games in one. One version of the
game is HARD and the other is EASY(these are the labels in the
game). In the hard version you will be asked to type in the
pseudonym) of the personality. If you do not know it, simply
press RETURN and you will find the answer (it will cost you 30
points however). For every answer you get correct, you will get
20 points. On occassion you will have some questions that are
labeled BONUS. If you guess these correctly you will get
additional bonus points. Likewise, if you miss them you will
loose extra points. ..ho, hum...such is life.
The easy version is very EASY and you might like to try this
first just to brush up on the names. In this version you are
given the personalities real name and three alternatives to choose
from. Use the mouse pointer to click on the star next to the name
of your choice. As above you will gain or loose points
accordingly.
You may abort the game at any time by typing "end" (lower
case) for an answer in the hard version, or simply clicking on the
END star with the mouse in the easy version.
I offer this demo so that you may try the game
to see if you like it. I have put considerable time and expense
in developing it and hope to get some minimal return for the
 complete game.
So...if you would like the complete game which contains 275
names (male and female) please send a formatted 3 1/2'' disk and
$5 to me at the following address, and I will return it with the
complete program for you to play. Thank you for your support.
