Word of Introduction by Digital Justice/Black Lennon:

Just in case for those not in the know (or those who don't give a shit but
i'll tell them anyway) .. i use two aliases now .. so if you wanna mail
me or whatever try both alias accounts. For those who don't give a shit
even more Black Lennon is a brand of sunglasses i wear around all the time.
Got em from Virgin Megastore for $25 ... most triumphantly cool.

Street Fighter II Try-Hard Machine: Fatal Fury.
A machine was released into Melbourne a few weeks ago before this text
hit the boards. Manufactured by Neo-Geo, it is try-hard copy of the
game Street Fighter II except it lacks the great playability and
range of maneauvres which SF2 has.

I tried playing that machine and i gotta say it was totally crap. Not only
does the game lack a sense of fairness when you play (it is very easy for
the machine to cheat) they're trying to cash in on a combat simulator market
that Capcom have established with SF2. A friend of mine clocked the stupid
thing and it was a joke. Nice try Neo-Geo but no cigar.

Street Fighter Merchandise.
In current Street Fighter 2 Comics they're advertising merchandise of SF2
such as badges and 1992 posters/calenders (26x38) etc. I don't know if they
could be ordered here but i doubt it. We'll inquire into it and let ya know.

Street Fighter CD.
Yeah in the comics they're advertising a Street Fighter Compact Disk which
apparently has all the soundtracks of the theme songs on every location
and more. We dunno if you can get it over here but we'll find out.

In Japan/Hong Kong did you know that they actually hold a library of famous
fights on video tape so you can come along and view them. They hold huge
viewing screens and audience seats for tournaments. This thing is REALLY
big over there!!

The Edition: No.3.

A couple of friends of ours have gone over to China and Hong Kong as well
as Japan for the holidays. They're going to check out Street Fighter III
(as it apparently exists) and call us back here. So before it hits Australia
we'll give you as much info as we can.

Final note. No one we really TRUST and KNOW PERSONALLY has actually reached
Sheng Long yet ... we're doing our best to do it but its freaking hard!
The only thing we can do is wait and try out the formula according to
our source on how to reach Sheng Long. Wait till then.

UPDATE: One of our friends just got back from Hong Kong. No such Street
Fighter III exists over there .. so i don't see how its going
to be here in February like timezone dudes say.

MOST FINAL NOTE: Sorry dudes i was really hoping to give you all the
damage point values and all for the Street Fighter characters and
maneauvres but one of the dudes took off with the World Warrior Book.
Definitely next issue if all things go well.

In the World Warrior there are pictures to go along with
these point values. Its a bit hard to do this in text .
(and i'm sure as hell not gonna do it in GIF!) so i'll
give you the best description of it in the next issue or
we'll find someone with a scanner (although copyright laws could kick our
heads in for this). But thats the beauty of the bbs .. completely
anonymous!

HINTS AND TIPS:

The Ken/Ryu Sure-Death Maneauvre:
This one is a classic man .. its better than a triple uppercut ...
does more than 3/4 damage if done with HEAVY PUNCHES ... and looks
bloody awesome!!!

Ok here it is ... this is practically only possible if an opponent
is stunned ...

When they're stunned do either of the following:

Do an OVERHEAD kick (see issue 1 for details) .. by jumping just above
the opponent so is places you on the other side directly and hitting
their head at the same time. Then turn around quickly and hit them
with a DOUBLE UPPERCUT (which is a combination of any PUNCH and then
an UPPERCUT). This has to be done VERY QUICKLY!!!

Or:

Jump in and do a HEAVY PUNCH (or other such punch) as soon as you land
right next to them. Then follow up with a DOUBLE UPPERCUT and wallah .
they're stunned again!

Now the best way to do this so they lose MAXIMUM energy .. really about
2/3rds .. and the way i do it is this:

Do an overhead kick using HEAVY KICK. Then do a DOUBLE UPPERCUT
using HEAVY PUNCH and then HEAVY UPPERCUT. Now since this is all using
heavies its not as fast as the others so you might not get it all in.
SO YOU REALLY gotta be good at your uppercuts and you gotta be fast.

If you're not so good at uppercuts do HEAVY KICK then follow up with
HEAVY PUNCH and then LIGHT UPPERCUT. Or HEAVY PUNCH then HEAVY PUNCH
and light UPPERCUT. Its up to you but best results are of course
down with HEAVY's!

Guile vs Blanka Technique:
There's a VERY good technique that guile can use against Blanka.
Guile has this awesome round house kick which is executed by pressing
MEDIUM KICK and pulling back on the joystick. He swings around and
kicks on the spot .. most awesome. Anyway .. if Guile throws a SONIC
BOOM and Blanka jumps over it towards Guile do one of these .. and
watch what happens!

However if the distance isn't correct it won't work. So if you're stuck
in a corner throw a SONIC BOOM and then jump and do HEAVY KICK directly
vertically upwards.

The Chun Li Triple Kick:
Ok folks .. theres a way of getting people unconscious again and again
and again using Chun Li. Its very hard but you can do it.

Chun Li has the ability to 'stand on people's heads'. You can do this
by holding down the joystick when you're above an opponent and pressing
MEDIUM KICK.

When timed correctly and positioned correctly ... chun li can score
3 hits on the opponent like this in a sequence thus getting them unconsious
again.

First jump onto the opponents toe. Then you should hit the opponents
waist. Another one should then hit the opponents head.

I have never completed this maneavre myself as i don't use chun li ... but
i have seen only one other person who has. Awesome.

SECRET TRICK:
Ok .. you know the BARREL STAGE when they keep dropping down off the
factory rollers and you gotta break them? Its the second CHALLENGE
STAGE. Well there's a way for Guile to become 'invisible' during this
stage and pass through all the barrels when he walks!!!

Its VERY difficult but this is how its done. Before the challenge
stage is about to begin .. press in ONE DIRECTION using the joystick and
GET READY TO THROW A SONIC BOOM using HEAVY PUNCH only. When the
challenge stage begins .. QUICKLY throw it by moving the joystick to the
other side very quickly and pressing HEAVY PUNCH.

If you've thrown a sonic boom at the start you're in!!! Its quite hard
but with practise you can do it. Ok .. now PRESS ALL 6 KEYS DOWN and
move GUILE around the floor/whatever!! He will now pass through all
the barrels!!!

This tip was printed in the Street Fighter comic the other day and i just
got it translated. Cool eh? Btw .. we don't crap here .. so if you
can't seem to do it .. keep trying ... it does work ...

Sheng Long: The Formula:
Sorry we were going to bring this to you this week but i wouldn't want
to publish anything that is totally UNCONFIRMED and lead you dudes on.
I'm going to check and recheck this so-called formula in a street fighter
comic and get back to you on it as i'll only believe the final formula
when it comes from a publication and not some friend in the industry who
only hears it. Sorry dudes.

SPECIAL OPPONENTS AND HOW TO DEAL WITH THEM.

Sagat: Dhalsim: Ok. Here's the formula i always use for Dhalsim.
There are plenty of better ones i'm sure but i
			 like using this one.
Jump backwards into the air at the start. If
Sagat starts moving forwards keep jumping in the
air backwards until he reaches you and keep blocking.
If he does a heavy kick right afterwards hit him
with a HEAVY HAND or FIREBALL him.
When Sagat starts moving backwards do a HEAVY HAND.
or HEAVY LEG to him and because Sagat lacks any throw
			 throw him right afterwards.
Oh yeah .. if you jump backwards while he's moving
towards you .. a hand while in the air towards him
will ALWAYS make him do an uppercut to hit it. Timed
correctly he will miss it and you can strike back.
Zangief: Now this is FRIGGIN hard! Sagats fireballs CAN
be jumped by Zangief no matter what people say but
IT IS VERY HARD and it has to be timed to PERFECTION
unlike other characters. The best formula for him
is to jump forward and hit him with a heavy kick or
punch and hope for the best. After hitting him
with a MEDIUM or LIGHT punch or kick do a screw piledriver
or if he's in the corner hit him with a HEAVY PUNCH
or KICK and then do HEAVY SCREWPILEDRIVER (more range).
Else you can always cheat with small punch and then
any of the grabs (but you have to get close).
Honda: Umm .. basically there is no set formula to him but
take note: HONDA CAN AVOID THE BOTTOM FIREBALL SAGAT
THROWS WHEN HE DOES A RAMMING ATTACK! So if sagat
is about to throw a low fireball just do a ram attack
			 and you'll get close!
Ken and Ryu: No set formula really. ANything goes.
Best to hit him with a double or triple (very hard)
uppercut after SAGAT has thrown an uppercut.
Its HARD trying to out fireball SAGAT but it
CAN be done (though not advisable).
Guile:	Umm best formulas include the sure-death attacks
and whenever he jumps towards you do a light samersault
kick. Whenver Sagat throws an uppercut either AIR THROW
, AIR WALK, BACK BREAK or DO HEAVY SAMERSAULT KICK.
Chun Li: Best to do plenty of the standing on top of Sagat's
face .. err head. Sagat almost always does an
Uppercut. Follow up with a Air Throw.
Blanka: No set formula. HEAVY attacks work well and
			  so do HEADBUTTS.

Things to know about Sagat: Basically when the power ratio's really start
looking bad for Sagat he'll start uppercutting
and fireballing . getting much more offensive.
Like Honda, Bison, Blanka and Ken he'll start
doing a special attack like uppercut constantly
in the hope to wear down your energy.

Bison: Zangief: Pretty hard to say actually. Jump forward and
do LIGHT KNEE. If Bison jumps forward this will
catch him. IF bison at the start jumps backward
keep jumping backwards and doing heavy kicks.
Once you get close its best to do the Zangief
			  sure-death attack (Screw piledriver).

Dhalsim: EASY!!!! Just keep doing MEDIUM KICK all the time!
Either that or do MEDIUM KICK then do HEAVY SLIDE.
			  The easiest to do.

Ken or Ryu: Fireball/Uppercut technique always works
				well.
Chun Li:	Hard to say but jumping on the head and
jumping and doing HEAVY KICK works well
(if boring). An AIr throw at the start, if
				possible, works well.
Honda: Jump backwards and do HEAVY KICKS or HANDS.
Umm .. do HUNDRED HAND when he flames on.
Guile: Sure death attacks. Umm .. jumping forward
at the start and doing AIR THROW works well.
				Constant Samersault kicks work too.
Blanka: At the start jump forward and do MEDIUM KICK.
Blanka HEAVY KICKS while jumping vertically
work well. Constant rolls work well too.

Short tip about Blanka:
Blanka's HEAVY ROLL/HAND when he turns over twice on the spot and hits with
his hand normally only hit twice on opponents such as Balrog, Dhalsim,
Sagat and Honda.

RUMOURS:
Ok here are unconfirmed rumours which our 'contacts' in the USA have
told us which can be done:

In the comic Chun Li has thrown that spiked bracelet of hers many times.
In the game this can be done as well!! We don't know how to do this
yet admittedly here ... but we hear its a combination of the Spinning
Bird Kick and Small Punch.

Here's another rumour which i think is the biggest load of crap. Apparently
Guile has the ability to draw out a magnum from his belt and blow away
people with it ..gawd .. yeah rite ...

Final rumour for the day which i've been told is true. We all know that
Guile can be frozen on the spot. He can also freeze other opponents.
Well i know from a friend that Blanka can also freeze other opponents.
Word has it that all the characters can freeze opponents.

CONCLUSION:
Sorry there aren't any more hints and tips. We had to rush this one
out so to speak because of other stuff but we had some drawbacks with
someone pissing off with the World Warrior Book and then one of our
contacts sorta misquoting the Sheng Long formula to us.

I could put more things in this text but soon i'm gonna run out of
things to say (or crap to spread .. heh) .. so i'll hope you bear
with us. But i promise ya next issue we'll release some of the automatic
maneavres .. and the long awaited GUILE'S WALKING SAMERSAULT
KICK!!! and more.

Umm .. we'd appreciate more feedback from readers of this text. So if you
