Word of Introduction from Digital Justice.
Yo ppls!! Yeah the second edition of the mag is finally out again ... it took
us some time to compile a new list of hints and tips from all the various
chinese magazines and comics etc.

Street Fighter Comic (The one published by Jademan and the other) is really
getting around and selling out. To get YOUR copy if you're in Melbourne
go to Po Hong Newsagents in Chinatown and order them. Else go to the small
newsagent in the village cinema centre in Melbourne, City on Bourke Street
and ask for it. It comes in every Saturday at 4:00.

So far a lot of things have been happening on the Street Fighter front.
The championships which occured in Japan finished quite some while ago .. with
Chun Li resulting as the winner.

In Melbourne here, Australia .. we've been informed that Street Fighter 3 is
on its way to arcades here in 1992 February. Keep an eye out for it.

Street Fighter Tournaments are springing up all around the place. One held
in Doncaster every Saturday is ok .. i don't attend cos theres no prizes up
for grabs and you have to pay for all the credits yourself. There are a few
being held in the city.

DID YOU KNOW? That in America and Japan the names for the 4 characters are
	      different?

BIG NEWS: According to industry sources .. the mega entertainment company
TIMEZONE will be organising professional STREET FIGHTER CONTESTS
Prizes up for grabs will include a STREET FIGHTER machine even!!!

Street Fighter Tournament.
Yes the first street fighter tournament will be held in the city on Russell
Street next week. There will be two nights of bouting .. one on Saturday arvo
and the next on Tuesday night. Entry is $2 and there will be a maximum of
32 people for each night. Hopefully it should turn out to be a good night.
Trophies for the runner up and the winner. They sure look impressive.

So if you consider yourself pretty good then sign up .. or if you're just
interested about watching it turn up and see some pretty amazing street fighting.
Hope to seeya there!

Ok .. the Book the World Warrior came out the order day and we grabbed an edition
of it before it sold out. In it it has all the damage scores of all the
players in their maneavres. These will be released next week in a text called
Street Fighter 2'1. Watch for it. It will be soley dedicated to the point score
damages of all the maneavres.

Hints and Tips:

The Guile Air Walk, The Guile Air Throw and the Guile Back Breaker:
Ok .. most people will know most of these maneavres EXCEPT for the Guile
Air Walk. Well hear they are

The Guile Air Throw:
Ok .. this is hard to explain in text but basically during certain situations
when an opponent is jumping towards you in the air just as you are (or about to)
jump and while in the air push against that opponent and press HEAVY PUNCH.
Guile will throw the opponent onto the ground. This throw does more damage
than a throw on the ground.

The Guile Air Back Breaker:
This is pretty much the same. When an opponent is doing the same as above OR
when they are directly above you do the same thing but press HEAVY KICK. Guile
will jump up and crush the opponent on his shoulders. This does quite a lot
of damage though not as much as an Air Throw.

The Guile AIR WALK:
How'd you like to throw the opponent RIGHT across the screen .. carrying them
half the way across the screen whilst in the air. And it does HEAPS of damage.
Ok .. this maneavre is quite hard to do during a fight and it also is very hard
to do against certain opponents.

First of all this maneavre works best against Ken and Ryu.
When they (presumably Ken or Ryu) jumps towards you doing a HEAVY KICK jump
AWAY from the opponent and hold HEAVY PUNCH while in the AIR. Guile will snatch
the opponent from the air and carry them across the screen!!! This looks very
impressive and is the most powerful throw Guile can do.

Ok the only other situation when you can do this is when ken or Ryu jump towards
you and does a SMALL KICK in the air (its a jump with them sticking their knee
out). Jump TOWARDS the opponent and hold HEAVY PUNCH while in the air.
Guile will carry them all the way across the screen!!

Note: This maneavre is very good when Guile has an opponent in a corner and
is throwing SONIC BOOMS while following up with MEDIUM kicks on the ground.
The opponent has no choice but to jump forward.

Also because Guile cannot follow up with a SAMERSAULT KICK that quickly
after throwing a SONIC BOOM this is an alternative to counter attack.
The Throw is faster than a samersault kick and does MORE damage than
a samersault kick will ever do.

Note: Factors which have to be taken into account is the Distance and the
Speed of which you react to that attack.

Guile Super-Death Attack.
Remember the Super Samersault kick which was a sure-death technique and could
do huge amounts of damage? Like about twice more than a throw? Well this
attack is possible and does MORE than the super-samersault attack.

When a victim is unconscious or you can get all this in (if he/she is prone)
jump down, do a MEDIUM PUNCH, then do a quick SONIC BOOM and then follow up
the HEAVY LEG SWEEP. It will get them unconscious if not it will do a HUGE
amount of damage.

Guile Quick-Death Attack.
Guile has the ability to get them unconscious again and again with his quick
punches (as explained in the first text with 3 punches squatting then standing
up and doing the rest of the punches .. it will get him/her unconscious every
time again). There is another way to do this.

Do 3-4 LIGHT PUNCHES quickly standing or squatting. While doing that HOLD
BACK and power up a SONIC BOOM. After the fourth or third punch release a
SONIC BOOM and it should hit the opponent thus making them unconscious again.

The Zangief Freeze:
Yes you can freeze the game according to Rorschach. All you have to do
is let Zangief fight Ryu and as soon as the bout happens press 1 player button.
This has not been tested and sounds pretty useless really but what the hell
its interesting to know these things.

Zangief Snatch Attacks.
Most of you will know this but ever notice how Zangief will snatch an opponent
and crush them to their chest repeatedly or hit them against his chin etc?
Ever wonder why he does this when you really intended to do a throw or any one
of his huge back drivers, ground pounders etc?

Its due to distance at which you try to do this to an opponent. If you try
too early for a GRAB using MEDIUM PUNCH or MEDIUM KICK then the computer will
settle for a quick SNATCH. To increase the damage while Zangief is pounding them
repeatedly to his body WIGGLE THE JOYSTICK and hit the BUTTON rapidly.

The Blanka Sure-Death Maneavre:
Ok .. you've seen Guile do his super samersault kick. Its basically a combination
of punching when coming down .. squatting and punching then doing a samersault
kick.

Well Blanka has something just like it. Firstly when an opponent is unconscious
(you can do it when they're not but its best to do it this way) jump down and
hit them with HEAVY HAND. Then do a quick MEDIUM or LIGHT punch while squatting
then hit them with a HEAVY FOOT (the back kick not the flip kick). Properly timed
and done fast enuff all hits will score on an opponent and it does MUCH more
damage than Blanka can do on any other opponent.

The Blanka Knee-Bite Maneavre:
A bit of an old tip really. When an opponent is unconscious or whatever (you
have to be very close to an opponent to do this) do a MEDIUM knee on an opponent
then follow up with BITING the opponent.

WARNING: This trick, although deadly, is easy for the opponent to reverse
if they are aware of what you're trying to do. Be warned against doing it
to Dhalsim as he throws very fast back .. as does Zangief who can screw piledriver
or do another one of his powerful throws on you.

The Blanka Bite-Roll Maneavre:
Most people already know this but i thought i'd include it anyway for beginners
out there.

While biting an opponent hold back and power up a ROLLING ATTACK. As soon as
Blanka finishes his BITING ATTACK roll quickly and you should do that extra
bit of damage against an opponent if they BLOCK else they will take the damage
of the roll. This is effectively UNAVOIDABLE but be warned. Very quick
opponents like Guile can do a quick punch to stop it or do a samersault kick
or such to counter this maneavre so just be sure to be very fast.

The Chun Li Air Throw:
Most people will know this but Chun LI can throw someone while in the air. Basically
when an opponent is in the air jumping you just push up against them in the
air and press HEAVY PUNCH.

Dhalsim Sure-Death Attack:
Ken and Ryu and Guile all have attacks which can make your opponent unconscious
VERY quickly doing their quick punches or kicks .. then doing a double-triple
uppercut or one of the other techniques to get them unconscious again.

Well Dhalsim can do this also. It is best to do this on an opponent which is
very prone or unconscious. Go up to them and do a quick LIGHT PUNCH then
immediately follow up with a HEAVY PUNCH (Headbut).

You see, the light punch will shock them back to a normal state out of
unconsciousness. But because it was only a light punch there is more room
(time) to do more than one. And because the headbutt is a VERY FAST attack and
powerful and also scores 2-3 hits when striking an opponent it should make
them unconscious again. YOU CAN KEEP DOING THIS AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT!

Dhalsim Kick-Fireball Attack:
Dhalsim has an attack technique which is pretty unbeatable except when fighting
Guile or Chun Li. He can do a fireball of any speed then follow up with a medium
kick thus pushing them back again and again. They CANNOT get near.

However, if you do a SLOW FIREBALL then move up behind it (only GUILE and
DHALSIM can follow behind their fireballs). IF the opponent tries to jump
directly up over it a correctly timed HEAVY KICK or MEDIUM KICK will hit them,
and push them BACK ONTO THE FIREBALL! Its hard to explain in text but the timing
and distance must be precise to do this.

Rumour Tips:
These tips can apparently be done althougth they have not been tested by us:
Try them and see if you can do them.

The Blanka Roll Off:
Ever noticed when you use blanka and after you've done enuff damage to an opponent
and they're almost unconscious or unconscious and you follow up with a quick
ROLLING ATTACK Blanka rolls off his opponent? Well according to sources ...
Another ROLLING ATTACK done JUST AS BLANKA HITS THE GROUND AFTER HE REBOUNDS
OFF THAT OPPONENT (A failed hit on the roll) he will go through the opponent
and then roll off the screen.

TIPS FOR FIGHTING THE 4 SPECIAL OPPONENTS:
Most of these tips are either obvious or old but i thought i'd include them
to beginners.

BALROG: Unbeatable formulas: Using Dhalsim a HEAVY PUNCH at a long distance
while following up with a HEAVY SLIDE will
ALWAYS get balrog no matter what.

Its either that or the old DRILL or HEAVY HEAD
			       and throw.

Using Ken or Ryu you can do a FIREBALL and
then when he jumps over it finally sweep the
leg when he lands. IT ALWAYS works.

Using Guile you can sweep the leg and then
follow up with a samersault kick. IT ALWAYS
			       works.

Using Honda a HUNDRED HAND attack will ALWAYS
repulse his attack. However Balrog CAN
jump over it in time but not if AFTER YOU HAVE
HIT him using the 100 hand then stop and restart
			       it up again.

Using Chun Li you can keep bouncing off the walls
and scoring a heavy KICK ontop of his head.
A 100 foot kick will always do damage to him in
the same way as Honda (see above).

Note: Honda is VERY much like Balrog. If you constantly sweep the leg they
will always jump leaving themselves open to be repulsed by a counter attack
as they never HIT while in the air. So sweeping the leg with any character
and following up with a heavy kick upper will hit them back.

VEGA: Quite hard to fight him using Zangief but
it can be done. VEGA will always do a roll or
a heavy kick at the start before starting to
rebound off the walls. ONLY IF YOU ARE PROFICIENT
AT THE SCREW PILEDRIVER GRAB VEGA at this point.
VEGA will always leave himself open to this attack.

When fighting VEGA either try to walk under
him and throw him back after he has rebounded
off the wall. The best attack is to sweep the
leg just as VEGA lands then follow up with 2
more heavy kicks thus making VEGA unconscious.

Unlike most of the characters it is very difficult
for Zangief to avoid Vega's jumping attack from
the wall. The option is to either block it or
to jump away and do a HEAVY PUNCH or KICK. However
this is VERY HARD to do.

Using Ryu or Ken or Chun Li or Guile or Blanka
you can time 3 HEAVY ATTACKS on VEGA after he has
rebounded off the wall. Following up each hit
after hit will make him unconscious.

When VEGA jumps on the wall and is ready to jump
down any of these four can jump away and do a
heavy kick and this will score damage.

However Ryu and Ken can do an UPPERCUT. The
LONGER the uppercut is delayed after Vega jumps
off the wall coming down does MORE damage to VEGA.

In the correct position Guile can do a samersault
kick. Usually the position for this is just in
			       the middle of the screen.

Chun Li can do repeatedly SPINNING BIRD kicks
which will do damage to VEGA most times.

In the next issue SAGAT and BISON will be explained and how to deal with them.

Secret Locations:
According to Street Fighter Comic there are secret locations to enter.
THese are accessible through the Background scenes of:
Chun Li: There is a hidden thing in the shops:
Dhalsim: Supposedly breaking the pots and doing something else will allow you
	 to access a hidden screen.
Sagat: By picking up the rock there you can supposedly enter another location.

Two Ryu's:
Wanna know how to get 2 Ryu's on the screen?
Do the following:

Use an opponent other than Ryu and play normally on the game until you have
to fight Ryu. Then DO NOT fight him. Let your character get beaten up by
him .. DO NOT TOUCH THE JOYSTICK or MAKE ANY COUNTER ATTACKS! Then when
you lose and have to continue MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A CREDIT ALREADY IN THE MACHINE.
When the familiar scene with the two opponents faces and one of them is beaten up
and it asks you to continue hit the CREDIT continue on the machine and then
SELECT RYU. You will then fight Ryu against Ryu.

Note: Apparently, although this has not been tested you can do the same thing
with Ken. Someone send me mail if they've managed to do this.

Also:
Secret Opponents according to certain sources include:
Australia: There is a huge opponent there in the form of a Crocodile Dundee
	    look alike.
Africa: Many people have testified to seeing this. A huge black african
	    guy TALLER than sagat.
Asia: Sheng Long (Jackie Chan) is waiting there for your challenge.

THE BONUS STAGES:
Ok .. pretty basic stuff this but i thought i'd just include it for beginners:

Throw a Sonic Boom while at the Car Stage and Oil Drums:
Do a heavy leg sweep. While Guile is turning around and around keep holding
back and you'll be powered up for the SONIC BOOM. Hit it.

Throw a Sonic Boom while at the Barrel Stage:
Let yourself be tripped over by the barrels. WHile recovering from it hold
back for a sonic boom.

Do a Yoga Flame on the Car and Oil Drums and Barrel Stage:
Do a HEAVY HAND headbutt. While doing this hold back and then quickly do
a YOGA FLAME.

Do a Blanka Rolling Attack on the Car, Oil Drums and Barrel Stage:
Do a headbutt or knee on the car and hold back. Quickly do a roll. At the
Barrels allow yourself to be tripped over by the barrels. Do a roll as soon
as you recover.

TIPS:
Ok according to sources in the industry accessing the ability to CONTROL SAGAT
is as follows. Any misinformation when we find it will be corrected in later
editions:

CONTROLLING SAGAT:
22 Perfects:
You must get perfect on all rounds up to and past Bison. That is NOT take
any hits AT ALL or it will be lost.

SHENG LONG:
Yes you CAN fight the opponent SHENG LONG. Notice when you use Ryu to fight
it mentions something about SHENG LONG? Well you can fight Sheng Long who
is apparently Jackie Chan. We will elaborate more on EXACTLY how to do this
next issue as i have not seen this with my own eyes. Suffice to say it consists
of getting all perfects .. using Two Ryus .. sacrificing a credit. Stay tuned.

More to come in the Next Issue:
How to disconnect yourself from the Guile Opponent Freeze:
Sheng Long: The exact formula to fight him.
The Blanka Freeze: Freeze the game during play using Blanka.

and more:

Conclusion by Digital Justice:
Thats it for this edition of the text. Hope these tips help you dudes out
there. Oh yeah .. contrary to what most people say you CAN do a screw piledriver
on an opponent during the BONUS STAGES.
Cool Man! (thrills, yawn!)

Note: OH yeah .. i know the spelling in this text is f*cked but i couldn't be
stuffed editing it. I'm not illiterate .. just lazy.

Final Note: Street Fighter 3: According to Industry Rumours the game itself
comprises of 4 players new dudes (12-14) to use. Some of these
include VEGA who has a special attack where he jumps up in the air
.. comes down and lands (not like when he jumps onto the fence in
SF2 and then lands). ANother guy is a Dark Ninja who can throw
Ninja Stars (this dark ninja apparently features in the Street Fighter
comic). I myself have seen him in the comic but i doubt this rumour
	     is true personally.

Most Final Triumphant Note: Any contributions to this text??!? PLEASE!!!
We'd like to have feedback from other people on
what they think we've missed and would like changed.
Despite putting together this text just for the hell
of it out of fun we like to think that we're helping
people get more fun out of their games .. a game which
has become a kind of leisure/sport for some of us
			     here.

BE MOST EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER AND PARTY ON DUDES!!!
