This updated version of the Magellan Atlas for DOS computers
includes information about the image mosaics on CDROMs 1-80, as
well as the latest list of named Venus features from CDROM 80.

In addition, this version has several improvements:

o It now displays the radar illumination direction, or "view"
(left or right) for each mosaic. All Cycle 1 mosaics have a
left-looking view, while Cycle 2 mosaics are mixed between
     left and right.

Mosaic names which end in *;201 or *;202 are made with data
from Cycle 2. Names ending in *;2 are "improved" versions
     of Cycle 1 mosaics.

The CDROMs now contain images which cover the same area with
different radar illumination directions (left and right).
In the future, there will also be left and left with a
     different incidence angle, giving stereo).

o A new option is available on the main menu which starts a
second menu giving a variety of ways to find information
about the image mosaics. A full-screen display shows the
corner coordinates for each mosaic, the farthest left and
right longitude, the view direction, the CDROM, and the
first and last orbit included in the mosaic.

You can find mosaics by mosaic type and name or by CDROM,
with "wild card" searches permitted. You can find mosaics
which overlap or lie inside a range of orbit numbers, or
include a specific orbit number. You can find mosaics which
overlap or lie inside a specified region of
     latitude/longitude.

(The last option could, for example, let you find all the
mosaics needed to cover a large named feature.)

o This new version is "safer" in that it protects you from
accidentally erasing or modifying the data about mosaics or
     features.
