There have been some additional changes in the comp.sources.games
archive on saab. I now have (temporary) use of a USR Courier HST
modem which understands USR 9600 baud, V.22bis 2400 baud, 212A 1200
baud and 103 300 baud. The phone number remains the same.

Note that saab is uucp only to the outside world; if you are looking
for an ftp'able site your best bet is 'uunet.uu.net'.

P.S. My current backlog is zero. Keep those submissions coming!

---------------------------
Anonomous uucp archive access is available from saab. It has a single
phone line with a USR Courier HST modem (9600/7200/2400/1200/300).
[Only talks to another HST at 9600 or 7200.]
A sample uucp L.sys entry might look like:

saab Any ACU 2400 5039234494 in:-\r-in: ugames ssword: letmein

An index can be retreived with the command (examples only):

	uucp saab!/usr1/ftp/games-archive/Index /usr/spool/uucppublic/Index

Individual game sources can be retrieved with the command:

	uucp saab!/usr1/ftp/games-archive/gamename.Z /usr/spool/uucppublic/gamename.Z

for older single part games, or

	uucp saab!/usr1/ftp/games-archive/gamename/Partxx.Z /usr/spool/uucppublic/gamedir/Partxx.Z

for multi-part (and newer single part) games [or Patchx.Z]. All of the
source files are compressed with 16-bit compression. If you need
compress or patch, they are available from the "pub" directory as
compress.shr and patch.tar.Z.

If you have problems send me email and I'll look into it.
