In response to problems pointed out by people like you, I have made
changes to xarchie to bring it to version 1.2. In addition, the
changes add a bit of ftp functionality and allow it to run under R5
(at least under *my* R5). The new distribution is available from the
normal places:
	archie.mcgill.ca (132.206.2.3)
	ftp.cs.widener.edu (147.31.254.132) 
	cs.rochester.edu (192.5.53.209)

The patch alone is available from
	archie.mcgill.ca:archie/clients/xarchie.patch-1.2.shar
	cs.rochester.edu:pub/xarchie.patch-1.2.shar

Non-ftp'ers will have to be content with the fact that the patch has
been sent to comp.sources.x, or use a mail ftp server.

Please read the short README-1.2 included in the sharchive since (a) a
few files were inadvertently distributed in version 1.1, and (b) the
patch fixes some non-problems having to do with keeping my releases in
sync.

** There are some reports of core dumps in XtNameToWidget() on Sparcs
** under SunOS4.1 with /bin/cc, which happens also to be my setup on
** which xarchie runs fine. If you can shed some light on the
** problem, please let me know. Please don't just tell me about it
** though, as we're already working on it.
