The Shareware Distribution set contains the following files: 

        PSED.EXE        the PS Ed-480 tone bank editor
        PSED.DOC        Documentation for PS Ed-480
        PSED.CFG        Screen color specification file
           *.PSS        Various tone banks ending in the .PSS extension

        PERF.EXE        A program for "splitting" and "layering"
                        the keyboard (see SPLIT.DOC for more info)
        PERF.DOC        Documentation for PERF.EXE
        PERF.DAT        Sample keyboard configurations

     
        Note: the tone bank file DEFAULT.PSS is searched for and loaded
              if PS ED-480 cannot load other valid data at startup. If
              this file cannot be found, PS Ed-480 will display a message
              to that effect and terminate.
