ERCRacko Version 1.1 12/24/92 This program is distributed as shareware so if you enjoy the game and continue to use the program, please send $5 to: Earl Clark 3 Island Heights Drive, NE Pine Island, MN 55963 Now that the business part is overwith.... The game requires a VGA or better graphics card and a mouse. ERCRacko is based upon the Milton Bradley game RACK-O. There is a slight variation in the rules I used. The object of the game is to have all ten cards, from bottom to top, be in increasing order. Cards are numbered from 1 to 40 for two players, 1 to 50 for three players, and 1 to 60 for four players. The object is simple but the game is fun and competitive. The game is for two to four players. If there is strong support for the game I will probably come out with a version that supports a computer opponent. Instructions: Most screens have instructions telling you how to complete the needed action. To select the number of players, place the mouse cursor on the desired box and click the left mouse button. To quit to DOS click the left mouse button on the Exit box. The players names can be up to 15 characters. The program will maintain the win-loss records for each name. If you wish to use the same name as a previous game to keep an ongoing tally of wins and losses, the name must be typed exactly as it had before. When you are done entering the name press enter, then confirm your choice. The turns consist of picking a card from the stack(cards with no numbers showing) or the card on top of the discard pile. To do either, place the mouse cursor on the card and press the left mouse button. The card will become highlighted. If you picked the card off the stack its number will be revealed. Next you choose a card to discard. If you wish to swap your card picked with one in your hand, choose to discard the one in your hand. Otherwise choose to discard the card you drew. To select a card in your hand, click on the portion of the card with the number or above. Once again to quit to DOS click on the quit box. When a player wins the game, his\her cards are shown along with a message. To continue press the left mouse button. This will show all the players win-loss records. Pressing the left mouse button again will left you choose if you wish to play again. I hope you enjoy the game. I welcome any comment or suggestion, even those from people who don't wish to keep playing the game. Registered owners will get the next release(which will come out if there is enough support) at the difference of the new release's price and this $5 price. There will not be any increse in price unless new features are added. Thank you for your support, Earl Clark 3 Island Heights Drive, NE Pine Island, MN 55963
