******************************************************************************** *** Note to Sysops: *** ******************************************************************************** I have a number of on-line games that can be modified to run on your system. Why install an on-line game? A good on-line game can increase board usage by quite a bit (and not just playing games). Does it induce more registrations? When the game provides additional features/benefits for registered users, sure. Some games available: Combat -a multi-player real-time space combat game -each player controls a ship that is loaded with lasers, missles and a cloaking device -players control the ships by rotation and acceleration and the laws of physics are applied (i.e. to stop moving you must acceleration in the opposite direction) -game is NOT ANSI based nor is does it involve heavy terminal I/O (so all users should be able to use it and users at 9600 baud have little advantage over 1200 baud users) -to avoid the "no one else is on!" blues there is a phantom ship -demo single player demonstration version (DOS) available Risk -multi-player and single player versions available (and/or both) -DOES use ANSI sequences and color -yes, it IS screen I/O intensive -basically, same game as the shareware version For more information write to me, Bruce Adelsman, on the bulletin board system PC-PROFILE (tm) (507) 753-2612 or drop me a note at: Bruce Adelsman PO Box 384 Rochester, Minnesota 55903
