This is just a quick little text file I threw in here to tell
you a little about myself... My name is Steve Carlson, and I run a
Spitfire BBS called The Far Side BBS in Whitehall Michigan. I'm still
new to the BBSing arena; my BBS is only just going online now (Sept. 1993).
One of the things that I like about Spitfire so much is the
recent addition of RIP graphics. I quickly obtained a copy of TombArt
1.01 from a local Spitfire Sysop (ok, here comes a plug! Tim Suckow,
Landing Approach BBS, 616/744-0772), so I went to work on my RIP menus
and display files. I have found editing the RIP files easy and actually
fun! Since I've been having so much fun making RIPs, I've decided to take
a second to ZIP some of the ones I'm using (or variations of them) into
one archive for other Sysops to see and to give others some ideas. I hope
you like them!
While I understand nothing is stopping you, please consider either
altering the menus to your own unique flavor or re-do them slightly to
make them more original. You don't have to, but users might get sick of
seeing the same menu popping up around town! My BBS name and my own name
are in each of the menus, but I suppose you can remove them with a text
editor...
Once again, I hope you enjoy these menus! I love doing RIP, so
feel free to write me and maybe I'll find the time to do a request if
you'd like... The Far Side BBS can be reached at 616/894-5909 (1 line).
If you prefer SnailMail, my address is:

Even if you don't have a request, drop me a line and let me
know what you think of them...I may upload some more later!
