NEW YORK, June 23, 1992 -- At PC Expo, Panasonic Communications & Systems
Company's Office Automation (OA) Group is showcasing its family of color
multi-frequency monitors. The 20-inch PanaSync/Pro C1991 and two 14-inch
monitors - the PanaSync C1395 and PanaSync C1381i - are on display at
booth 4334 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

"Today's need for high-resolution color monitors is increasing as business
software applications integrate complex graphics, and as executives
increase their use of images and photographs in business presentations,
newsletters and other documents," said Tim Curran, Panasonic OA's general
manager of sales. "Panasonic OA is aggressively positioning the color
monitor line as cost-efficient answers to end users' color display
needs."

also works with Apple Macintosh II computers. The monitor can be used with
a broad range of video graphics boards, using 8514/A, SVGA, XGA, VGA and
MCGA standards.

and distributors for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $2,695.

PanaSYnc C1395

For IBM-compatible computer users, the 14-inch PanaSync C1395 monitor
offers a 1,024 by 768 pixel maximum non-interlaced resolution, while Apple
Macintosh II users can benefit from sharp colors with high contrast. It
has 13 preset modes to ensure visually accurate proportions and its 0.28
mm dot pitch enhances legibility by producing crisp, clear images. The
monitor also automatically scans all horizontal frequencies between 30 to
57 KHz and vertical frequencies between 50 to 90 Hz.

The monitor is compatible with IBM PCs, XTs, ATs and PS/2s, and also works

graphics boards, using 8514/A, SVGA, XGA, VGA and MCGA standards.

PanaSync C1381i

The 14-inch PanaSync C1381i is positioned as a direct upgrade to the
PanaSync C1381, and offers users more advanced features at a remarkable
SRP of $565. It offers three major advantages over the PanaSync C1381:

. Super dark CRT for enhanced contrast ratio
. Improved 45 MHz video band width for sharpened images
. Wider 38 KHz horizontal frequency for more versatility

The monitor features 1,024 by 768 maximum interlaced image resolution and
800 x 600 maximum non-interlaced resolution. As a multi-frequency model,
it automatically adjusts to the sync signals of a variety of video
graphics boards, providing upward compatibility with MCGA, VGA, SVGA, XGA
and 8514/A standards. The multi-frequency feature also enables it to work
with today's popular personal computers: IBM PC, XT, ATs, PS/2s and
compatibles and Apple Macintosh IIs (using the optional C81M2 adaptor
cable).

The PanaSync C1381i offers users outstanding image quality, producing
steady and consistently sharp images. It automatically adjusts image size
along the vertical and horizontal axes to ensure visually accurate
proportions. Its 0.28 mm dot pitch produces clear, crisp text and
graphics, enhancing legibility.

Ergonomically designed for user comfort, the monitor features up-front
controls that permit easy and convenient adjustment of brightness,
contrast, vertical and horizontal sizing and centering. A super-smooth,
non-glare screen reduces eye strain and a tilt-and-swivel stand positions
the monitor within a range of comfortable viewing angles.
