Richardson, Texas (June 23, 1992)--Micrografx, Inc., the first and leading
developer of Windows-compatible graphics applications, announced today
that it plans to release its first organization charting software product,
Windows OrgChart 2.0, in August.

Windows OrgChart 2.0 is an updated version of Roykore, Inc.'s award-winning
Instant ORGcharting! product. Micrografx acquired Roykore in May.
Micrografx is also lowering the product's retail price from $195 to
$149.95, which sets a new standard for value and ease of use in
organization charting software, according to George Grayson, president and
chief operating officer of Micrografx.

"Windows OrgChart satisfies the demands of both management and
administrative-level users who want to take full advantage of their
high-speed, graphics-based PCs," Grayson says.

"With Windows OrgChart, users will be able to create, update and print
high-quality, professional organization charts and tree diagrams
automatically, in record time, without the need to draw freehand," he
adds. "The product's numerous easy-to-use features are designed for one
purpose only: to create great looking organization charts quickly and
effortlessly."

New features in Windows OrgChart 2.0 will include a fit-to-page feature
that allows the reduction of large organization charts onto one page,
including a "best fit'' specification that automatically resizes all
fonts.

Other new features will include: an option for co-managers or multiple top
managers to be depicted at the same level; the ability to implement and
save changes instantly; support for Microsoft object linking and embedding
(OLE), and the importing of DOS files from Banner Blue Software's
OrgPlus.

Instant ORGcharting!, Windows OrgChart 2.0's predecessor, was already an
award-winning product, having won PC Magazine's Editors' Choice" as the
industry's best organization chart program. In that publication's December
31,1991 issue, the review states: "With the help of the Windows interface,
Instant ORGcharting! makes creating charts easy, automates many tasks that
other programs make you perform repeatedly, and provides plenty of
customization options. As the newcomer in this category, it looks as if
Instant ORGcharting! will be around for a while."

PC Magazine's January 14,1992 "Best of 1991" feature also found Instant
ORGcharting! "the best way to get a complex organization down on paper."
Editor Joel Dreyfuss wrote: "Drawing organization charts has become a
function of virtually every modern manager. Instant ORGcharting! makes a
fun, easy experience out of a previously tedious task."

Additionally, Windows Magazine, in its January 1992 "Windows 100" cover
story, named Instant ORGcharting! a "WinAward" winner.

With Windows OrgChart 2.0, as with Instant ORGcharting!, automatic line
drawing and box alignment make creating and editing organization charts
faster and easier than with conventional computer drawing programs. Users
simply point and click to add, delete or promote personnel.

Starting with a single top box, Windows OrgChart users can add either
assistants or subordinates. Each manager position has an icon that allows
the addition of mid-level managers.

Connecting lines are rerouted automatically when moving boxes. Users also
can link detailed notes or photos to any position, and point and click to
display that information or photo. With just a click, users can have
instant access to any employee's vital statistics.

Numerous chart configurations will give Windows OrgChart users a variety of
ways to display a company's organization layout. The program can output to
any Windows-device format, including slides. Files can be exported to
other applications.

Windows OrgChart also includes support for multiple typefaces, password
protection, on-line help, and Micrografx's outstanding 24-hour technical
support.

Pricing and System Requirements

Windows OrgChart 2.0 has a suggested retail price of $149.95. Initial
upgrade pricing for Instant ORGcharting! users will be $49.95 plus $10 for
shipping and handling, with a free upgrade (plus shipping and handling
charges) to anyone who purchased Instant ORGcharting! after June 23, 1992.
System requirements for Windows OrgChart 2.0 include DOS 3.0 (or higher);
an 80286 or higher microprocessor-based CPU (80386 recommended); 1 MB RAM
(2 MB recommended); a hard disk; Windows 3.0 (or higher); a
