Fujikama Introduces PC Systems for Corporate Buyers, Resellers 

First-Time Company Expands Distribution Strategy to Target Corporate
Market

Villa Park, IL. -- April 6, 1992 -- Fujikama USA, Inc., a supplier of
computer products for the U.S. market, today introduced five PC-compatible
systems. The PCs' base configurations -- which include a floppy disk
drive, IDE controller card, keyboard, VGA controller card, and free MS-DOS
5.0 and Wordstar 6.0 -- are dealer-priced between $590 for 386SX-25 and
$1,535 for 486DX-50.

The Fujikama II High Performance Series computers provide corporate buyers,
VARs, SIs and OEMs with affordably-priced, FCC Class B-approved systems
utilizing high-quality components. The five new ISA-based PCs include the
386SX-25, 386DX-33, 386DX-40, 486DX-33 and 486DX-50.

"For the Fujikama 11 systems, we have expanded our distribution strategy,"
says Dennis Fung, Fujikama USA general manager. "In the past, we targeted
resellers exclusively. Now, we identify corporate buyers and then work
directly with our resellers to configure systems that target these large
end-user accounts."

High Quality Components:  The Fujikama II systems feature Intel or Advanced
Micro Devices (AMD) microprocessors, and American Megatrends Inc. (AMI)
BIOS. All of the systems' motherboards have sockets for optional Intel or
Weitek co-processors. Each system includes an integrated IDE controller;
and one parallel and two serial I/O ports.

Memory:  The Fujikama II systems support 256K, 1MB and 4MB SIMM modules.
The entry-level 386SX-25 PC has 2MB RAM installed, expandable to 16MB. All
of the other systems feature 4MB RAM installed, expandable to 32MB.

The 386DX-33 and 386DX-40 systems feature 128K cache, expandable to 256K.
The 486DX-33 and 486DX-50 have 256K cache.

Expansion Slots:  The 386SX-25 has four 16-bit and two 8-bit expansion
slots. The other four systems have six 16-bit and two 8-bit slots.

Storage Devices:  Each Fujikama II system is shipped with a 5.25-inch,
1.2MB floppy disk drive installed. Fujikama USA's optional storage devices
include a 3.5-inch, 1.44MB floppy disk drive; and hard disk drives from
40MB to 210MB.

Video:  The systems' standard configuration includes a Trident 8900C TVGA
card with 256K. Additional video memory and monitors, including the new
Fujikama III SVGA monitor, are optional.

Software:  The Fujikama II systems ship with MS-DOS 5.0, and Wordstar 6.0.
The PCs are fully compatible with Novell Netware, Windows, OS/2 and Unix.
All of the systems support LIM EMS 4.0.

Cases:  The 386SX-25 and 386DX-33 systems are configured in mini-size tower
cases. The 386DX-40 and 486 PCs feature mid-size tower cases.
