                         LESSON 2.1: TITLE PAGE ACCESS

================================================================================

              - Return to beginner's search tutorial <FILE031>
              - Return to navigation in hypertext <3A263C>
              - Return to LESSON 2.0 <FILE032>

================================================================================

              Upon starting this program, <FILE024 HOW TO START>
              you will see a screen representing the "start.txt"
              file, or what we could call the "title screen." You
              can think of this screen as combining the functions
              of both the cover and table of contents of a book.
              That is, here you will see both the title of the
              hypertext system and the main heading under which
              various sections of the network are listed, much
              like chapters in a table of contents of a book.

              Look at it very a few seconds, invoke it from here,
              and then return to this file using the LEFT ARROW KEY:
              <START.TXT>

              If you looked at the start.txt screen you saw five
              distinct headings under the "Table of Contents,"
              and the first one began with "Article Themes." The
              first is probably the most important heading to
              proceed through to find information in the
              hypertext network, the heading you will need to go
              through the most frequently. To find out more about
              the "Article Themes" heading, let's proceed to the
              next lesson.
