                          X-Windows Ph client

This service account allows remote users to use the X-window based Ph
program, xph.  This service is only temporary and is provided to those
sites that have not installed local copies of xph and the other Ph
software.

To secure the Ph software, contact the Distributed Systems Group of
Engineering Computing Services (ECS-DS) by email at
ecs-help@eng.ufl.edu, or by phone at 904/392-0986.  There are Ph clients
(user-programs) for Unix and X-windows, Macs, PCs, VMS, and even VM/CMS.
All the software is absolutely free.

In order for this remote service to work, you must know your X display
name, which is usually described by the DISPLAY environment variable. An
examples of a display name is "reef.cis.ufl.edu:0".

You also need to xhost your display for ns.eng.ufl.edu.  The command
"xhost +ns.eng.ufl.edu" can be used for this purpose.
