Fragments

Hypertext users should be able to find and read only what is
important to them (and easily skip what is not important to them).
For that reason, one important characteristic of any hypertext
system is many small units of text each organized around a
        single idea.

Finding Idea units tend to be one to several paragraphs in length.
existing If you paraphrase the contents of each paragraph, the
ideas idea boundaries occur when the paraphrase changes.

Creating In creating original hypertext screens, I like to:
new
ideas - limit size to one screen or 22 lines of text
                  - use a TITLE, DESCRIPTION, INDENT LIST, SUMMARY format
                  - Avoid dense text by using 2 sentence paragraphs
                  - Leave ample left and bottom margin
                  - Add an author link and a max of 3 relationship links

Summary: One idea per screen makes excellent hypertext
