CE Software Ships ProKey 1.5

West Des Moines, IA, July 20, 1993--CE SOFTWARE HOLDINGS, INC. (NASDAQ/NMS
Symbol:CESH) today announced the North American release of ProKey version
1.5 for Windows. ProKey 1.5 is the newest release of the market-leading
macro and scripting product for the Windows operating environment.

"ProKey users will be especially pleased with the increased reliability and
support of ProKey 1.5," said Christian Gurney, director of technical
services at CE Software. "Users will be able to not only leverage the new
features introduced with Windows 3.1, but also benefit from improved
support for launching from within DOS and new support for users with
physical disabilities."

"ProKey 1.5 represents the first of many steps planned by CE to strengthen
our scripting and macro product line," said Ford Goodman, president of CE
Software. "Today our customers receive the flexibility of custom shortcuts
to increase their productivity without script-writing or programming. As
Apple, Microsoft, Novell and others add value to their operating systems,
we will build that value into true, cross-platform utility for our
customers. CE's scripting strategy ensures that all customers, not just
those with programming skills or scriptable applications, gain the
productivity that ProKey, QuicKeys and their next generations offer."

Increased support in ProKey 1.5 includes:

DOS Support
* Users can launch ProKey and Windows simultaneously from DOS.
* ProKey 1.5 offers new support for the DOS command line.

Windows Common Dialog Support
* Version 1.5 now supports the Open and Save consistency
standards introduced in Windows 3.1. Extended ASCII Support
* Users can now take advantage of extended ASCII characters by
  using ALT key sequences.

Handicapped Access
* One-finger typing: Users can access all shortcut key
combinations that otherwise require pressing two keys
  simultaneously.
* Mouse operations using the keyboard: Allows users to operate
the mouse using the numeric keypad or the cursor keys.
* Keyboard responsiveness: Users can set controls to increase
ease of use of the keyboard. Controls that can be modified are
delay, bounce control, repeat delay, and repeat rate.

ProKey version 1.5 for Windows is available through distributors and
resellers worldwide. The U.S. suggested retail price is $79.00. Registered
