RALLY IS BACK - AND MORE REALISTIC THAN EVER!

Europress Software is about to launch the latest generation of "virtual
reality" car racing games.

Rally, which simulates the Network Q RAC Rally -- the final, most exciting
stage of this year's World Rally Championship -- will be launched in
November for the PC and Amiga. It features digitised video graphics of the
route, taking in real race tracks, bleak hill and moorland and snowy Welsh
forests, giving a greater degree of authenticity than has ever been
possible until now.

Five years ago Europress Software, then called Mandarin, made history with
Lombard Rally, the first rollercoaster-type driving game. It was a top
seller at full price and a chart-stopper when it was later launched on
Ocean Software's Hit Squad budget software range, with total sales of well
over 100,000.

Now Europress Software has once more teamed up with the RAC to create a
faithful representation of this year's four-day rally, which starts on
November 21. As the final round of the World Rally Championship, it is the
premier event in the 1993 rallying calendar. Computer gamers all over the
world will be able to slip behind the wheel of a fully modified Ford
Escort Cosworth, Toyota Celica or other entrants from Lancia, Mitsubishi
or Subaru, and try their luck at winning this most prestigious of events
-- all in the comfort of their own home.

The RAC's endorsement has meant that Europress has been able to draw on the
RAC's unrivalled knowledge and experience of rallying. Extensive research
was carried out with works rally teams to ensure cars featured in the
simulation are as accurate and up-to-date as possible. Project manager
Richard Vanner travelled around the country filming the various special
stages along the route and the footage has resulted in different road
textures like gravel, tarmac and mud being accurately reproduced
on-screen, together with roadside features like trees, logs, actual rally
roadsigns, marshals and of course spectators. The result is a stunning 3D
race game that creates impressive new standards in simulation
programming.

Players will be able to select from the latest, most technologically
advanced rally cars in the world, each with its own distinctive
performance and handling characteristics. Then it's off on the race of a
lifetime, with the game reflecting reality as the cars track the actual
rally route at breakneck speed. As you race against the clock, your
computer co-driver will scream out pace notes, and full sound support adds
even more to the realism and addictiveness of the product. It's even
possible to roll the car, and any damage caused along the way will affect
performance -- just like real rallying.

Rally will be launced in November 1993 for Amiga and PC.

Amiga (29.99 British pounds): compatible with all Amigas, 1 meg required,
256 colour graphics will fully exploit the enhanced capabilities of A1200
and A4000.

PC 3.5" (34.99 pounds): supports Soundblaster, Ad Lib and Disney Sound
Source. Minimum specification required: 386 processor, SVGA graphics, hard
drive (required 6MB).
