IBM Mainframe Tape and Printer Controlled from PC

Liberty Computer, Inc announces the Bus & Tag Interface controlling channel
attached high-speed laser printers, line printers and tape drives from a
PC. Print jobs are off-loaded from IBM mainframe or midrange computers via
3270, Twin-AX or magnetic tape converting EBCDIC into PC DOS files.

Bus & Tag Interface supports Xerox laser printers running up to 135 pages
per minute, Siemens, IBM, Unisys and others transferring data at 2.5+
million bytes per second. Support of 1/2", 9-track magnetic tape 1600/6250
BPI is maintained with the Bus & Tag Interface.

Bus & Tag brings new life to mainframe equipment scheduled to be replaced.
Companies downsizing can retain their existing tape drives and printers or
purchase refurbished equipment and control it from a Novell network.
Liberty Computers is Novell certified.
