Intergraph Releases First Windows NT Applications for AEC Market

ATLANTA, May 24, 1993 -- Intergraph Corporation (Huntsville, Ala.), a
leader in the computer-aided design and engineering (CAD/CAE) market,
announced today the release of its first Microsoft Windows NT applications
for architects and civil engineers. Intergraph made the announcement at
the Windows World '93 tradeshow here.

Intergraph announced in November that it would port its line of software
for architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) to Windows NT,
Microsoft's platform-independent operating system. The first AEC
applications available are the MasterWorks family: DesignWorks for
architectural design and drawing production, SiteWorks for digital terrain
modeling, RoadWorks for transportation engineering, CogoWorks for
interactive coordinate geometry, FrameWorks for structural design, and
InRail for track design. Intergraph's remaining AEC applications will be
available on Windows NT in 1994.

Expanding Options for A/E Firms

"Intergraph has dominated the high end of the AEC market with its UNIX
applications. With the introduction of our new Windows NT products, we are
now able to meet the needs of more customers by offering affordable
solutions on either Intel or Clipper platforms," said Dr. Anthony B.
Crawford, vice president of Intergraph's AEC Division. "In addition, these
products are compatible with existing UNIX and DOS applications."

The breadth of Intergraph's AEC applications and the flexible Microsoft
Windows NT operating system give architects and engineers a new choice in
CAD/CAE. This strategy enables customers to use a mix of Intel and Clipper
workstations running technical applications and business software. Now a
single computer is feasible on every desktop, improving the productivity
of technical users.

AEC products continue to be available for UNIX, and the MasterWorks family
is also available for DOS.
