NEW "CALL CONDUCTOR" FROM ANSWERSET AUTOMATES "STANDARDS OF SERVICE" FOR
CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Cupertino, CA -- April 7, 1993 -- Call Conductor, a system that
automatically monitors the open calls received by support departments and
takes management-defined action, is now available from AnswerSet Corp, the
company announced today.

"Call Conductor is unique in the marketplace," said AnswerSet President
Bill Mulert. "It enables management to set up a 'standard of service' and
have absolute assurance that no customer or call will fall through the
cracks."

Call Conductor enables service and support managers to pre-define a level
of service, for example desired response times for priority calls, and
then to define the actions required when those times are exceeded. Calls
may be escalated to different service representatives or dispatched to one
of a wide range of "flagging" services supported by AnswerSet. These
"flags" include E-mail messages, Novell pop-up messages, pager activation,
faxes, alarms, sending recorded messages over the telephone and interrupt
messages in Clientel, AnswerSet's customer information system.

Service management has complete control over the triggers that cause
different actions to take place. The triggers can be based on elapsed
times, the value in various fields of the call or customer record, or
conditional to accommodate customers who have purchased different levels
of service. Call Conductor also provides management with a complete record
of all "exceptions" (calls that have exceeded one of the service standard
parameters), and a chronological account of the follow-up actions taken.

Call Conductor is sold as a $1,495 option to Clientele's Standard Edition,
and included in the Clientele Extended Edition.

Clientele is a customer information system that uses PC-based distributed
database technology to maintain and track customer and product information
for instant, immediate response. Clientele's Extended Edition lists for
between $1,495 and $29,995 depending on the number of concurrent users.
Clientele's Standard Edition, a limited version of the Extended Edition,
